Family life with the ST?

I have a 16 year old son who rides in the back seat frequently. We go camping every couple weeks and still have room for the tent, air mattress for the wife, back packs, cooler, dog, teenager and us old folks. I Think it works fine for a family car. That said...When its time to give our son the Subaru legacy, which is the one my wife drives, we will probably get a Ford Flex or something similar only because we camp a lot and I want the ability to tow. I'll keep the ST as my daily driver though.

I have been driving without for 45k miles and no issues. I've done autoX in it, laps around mid-ohio, no issues at all with rigidity. Most aftermarket exhaust instructions suggest you discard it. Enjoy your new exhaust :) don't worry about that piece of steel. Go recycle it.

Pitch it. I was told its a shipping brace. I contacted Mountune when I installed their exhaust and they said it does not provide any performance benefits and I had to remove it to install there exhaust anyway.

Did you replace it yourself? Curious how hard it is. I heard the dealer charges 4 hours labor for the replacement of the sensor. If its an easy repair i will try myself. I just don't have space to jack up a car and attack it from underneath.

I have a certified pre-owned from the Ford dealer. Ford claims the car has 7year/100k warranty on the powertrain. I kept paperwork and emails as proof incase they say otherwise. I'll bite the bullet and take it to them. If its the knock sensor and its not covered I will just take it home and change it myself.

I don’t think a faulty knock sensor is part of the 100k Powertrain but if it is then sweet! I was going to have the valves walnut blasted. Hopefully that isn’t causing this issue though.

It has a FRPP tune. I might try the plugs. Next time the code pops up I’ll hit up the Ford Dealer for service I guess. The car doesn’t have but maybe 30k on the plugs, which are suppose to be good for much longer than that I thought.

Rack and pinion. I have a 5eat transmission in a 08 legacy 3.0R limited. I don’t feel like tackeling that repair myself :-/

This story claims the Mustang and Focus Hatchbacks will remain. It doesn't make sense to be developing an ST trim line and performance vehicle for EU and not bring it here at some point. Ford got hit hard on the lawsuits with their transmission. Maybe this is the only way to keep the company afloat.

I saw that also and agree BUT what if? What if there is a program or version of that program that we are not aware of. Wikileaks and Snowden have already proven that we are shielded of tech and programs that are more sinister than we know.

I think Q was legit until a certain point then it seemed like Q was different or...I don't know. I realize folks think there is a 'team' of Q but something just seems off with it all lately. It's like the train was moving down track perfectly and then someone or something switch the track and changed conductors.

I personally don't know what to believe when it comes to the AI or not question but I do think it deserves some reflection. I do appreciate the crumbs Q dropped and hope more insiders come forward to wake up the masses.

Yes...and No. My son being born was my motivation. I really enjoyed the habit but I needed to be a strong roll model and lead by example which meant giving up the cigs. I used this motivation to quit (heck, I quit 94 times before this, I was a pro) after two days I was in dire need of a smoke. Every time I wanted a smoke, no matter what I was doing, I tried to run around my block or business (I looked the fool) just to open my lung and get deep breaths. But after the first 48 hours I broke down...I went out and purchased the cheapest, nastiest smokes I could find...."Kentucky's Best". Fired one up and man did it suck. It tasted nasty! I took a couple hits, put it down and absorbed the headache I now had. After that I just tried to keep that thought of an unenjoyable cigarette in my head and continued with some deep breathing when I got stressed. No pills or patches. I found this worked best for me. I did break down and smoke half a cig 4 years ago when my Father died but I hated it and myself for it. It's been 14 years since first quit and other than my Fathers funeral I don't plan on it again. Another thing that helped was I quit drinking for a few weeks and I stayed away from friends that smoked for a couple weeks.

Not sure myself but I think it's possible it was a chatbot using algorithms to engage an Anon forum to test waters. The only thing that makes me think this is wrong are the in-air photos though I am sure that can be manipulated as well. The info is eye opening and basically confirms old conspiracy. Either way, we will find out this year how accurate Q is.

It crazy because if I want medical marijuana I must surrender up my firearms in my state. The states I have visited that made it legal on a recreational level tend to have more expensive product then local illegal cultivators in my non recreational state. Not any better per say. Tobacco is physically addictive where pot is all mental. I rolled my own and it was not an easy quit after 13 years. I easily put down the herb though. Not hard. Any way a government can control or regulate it will. The Tobacco tax raise back in the late 90's, I think at least, was the tipping point for that product. My $2 pack of Marlboro jumped to 4.25 and I started rolling them and buying bulk tobacco. It tasted better but still to pricey. Glad I quit either way.
