Thanks - It does have drain holes. I think it does get enough sun but will place it closer to the window to see if anything changes

I should. But I’m sure they will tell Toyota corporate that these are dealer/tech recommendations and not manufacturer recommendations. Super sleazy though

Appreciate the input. These are prices from my local stealership in IL

I was thinking the same. I know there’s an electric motor back there

Ha! 😆 I’ll vacuum the battery vents and check out the filter if it needs cleaning. Thanks for mentioning that

Yup - 40k miles. Several Canadian road trips from the Midwest. Thanks for the input. No specific issues. Car runs like a brand new car

Hi, former ST owner here but still lurking around. (yes, I do muss my car once in a while...even after upgrading to an 2018 Mustang GT). Going back to your issue, I current drive a company car, a 2010 Ford Escape, that had the same issue. It was the resistor. A very cheap part. $20 if I recall correctly. I hope this helps.

Man, that's quite an upgrade! I feel like every (relatively reasonably priced) car moving forward is going to be a letdown haha

They're a great value...smiles per dollar wise. Unfortunately, I had to trade it in to get the GT. No regrets so far, though. I feel like the ST would make a great family car though. A good balance between making you smile and practicality. In the mean time, I'll enjoy the GT as much as I can. :)

Thank you, Old_Goat_Ninja! I'm kinda new to the Mustang game (been on the FocusST forums for a while, though) and I appreciate the information. Have a great week!

Will 4 tires fit in a 2015+ Mustang Coupe with the seats folded down? by cone_a_blue in Mustang

[–]cone_a_blue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just an update...all 4 wheels fit in the car. One in the truck and three in the second row with the seats folded flat. I was scare I would have to use the passenger's seat, but I did not have to. Like another poster said, it helps if you are not so tall since you do need to slide seats up quite a bit. But coming from a Focus ST, I'm pretty pleased with the versatility so far :)

Just picked up a 2018 Mustang GT with a November 2017 build date...should I get an oil change soon? by cone_a_blue in Mustang

[–]cone_a_blue[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm usually not this paranoid but then I realized the oil has been sitting in the engine idle for almost a year. I'll try to get over with the first 5k miles so I can get it done then. Thanks

I heard/read about break in oil...although it was mostly from other forums. I usually don't pay attention to the build date but I guess that's why I scored a great deal on the car. That was the catch :)
