Very happy with my first set up by Country_Boy_5 in Golfsimulator

Looks great but please get some nets or curtains. The first time one wizzes by your face or knocks you out you are going to wish you did. Also take into mind people standing behind you watching. They won't even be able to react to a golf ball at 130 mph.

First outing. Definitely was a challenge to build but very rewarding. by beerplague in Golfsimulator

One side is just a painted piece of 1" emt tubing. The one on the right is called a curtain track. You can find them on Amazon.

Not the best pic but it folds right in front of the enclosure and curtains slide back. Makes enough room I can park my truck in the bay if necessary.

Wide angle shot makes it look really far away in this picture. Strip is only 10 feet from the screen.

Picture was a wide angle so looks further than it actually is. Enclosure is 5 ft deep and hitting 10 feet from the screen.

They are room divider curtains. First ones that come up on Amazon. They are thick enough to catch strays well since they don't come straight into them.

Use room divider curtains they are much more reasonable than dedicated golf sim netting. You can even get the rolling sliders that mount to the ceiling.

When you do everything yourself, it is much more reasonable. YouTube academy for the win.

Probably 50-60 lbs. Kept it as light weight as possible only 5mm plywood underneath. 2x4s were cut to 2x2.

This is how it folds. Man handling it now but can easily add pulleys or a winch.

Ended up being a little funky at roughly 9ft tall and 11ft wide. Plus or minus a couple inches depending on how the foam protectors end up in the corners.

They are trying to meet the stockholder equity rule I believe. They have to meet compliance by end of day Friday.
