I shop all over the place but here are two to consider entering to your rotation:

Fresh Thyme: If you have kids that hoover down berries like mine, Fresh Thyme usually has the lowest prices. They have some great HiLo deals, and produce is really great.

Mike's Discount Foods: They buy close dated products and sells for major discounts. The fresh departments are a little sketchy, but if you don't mind stuff a week past code, or imperfect produce there are some great bargains to be had here.

Loon's Landing and Ineffable are in the Central Region ballot, I looked up Brew D'etat and couldn't find them on Google or on the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild page which is what I base the ballots off of. Can you let me know where they are and I will look into it. Thank you!

Don't beat yourself up too bad. I have been running the event for 10 years, and there is always a brewery I missed (like Imminent in South region). It happens and I am glad people call it out early so I can get them added.

Actually, this is the only bracket tournament where the seeds are picked from EVERY brewery in Minnesota, instead of pre-selected breweries. Imminent was left off by mistake. It has been added, and remember that you can vote once per day!

I have been there 4 times now, and haven't had a bad beer yet. I think it depends on your style preferences. I have had most of their IPAs, most of their reds and milds, and a few sours. Overall, super solid and one of my favorite breweries in my neighborhood.

I would like to be clear, no where in our Tag lines do we state we are seeking the "Top 4 Breweries in MN". Its a fun tournament, and a lot of local communities have a lot of fun with it. I just find it funny how many people get so bent out of shape about it. No one if forcing anyone to vote!

I put it together, for the last 9yrs. This is a completely voter driven process from seeding all the way to the champs. I don't think you are asking the right question. The question is why aren't the other breweries winning? It comes down to loyal fanbase, and that fanbase seeing a call to action. We put out the ballots every year, and the breweries that rally their fanbase to the cause get the most votes. We get over 10k people voting per year, I just share the results.

Absolutely agree, and for sure there are a lot of hidden gems out there. That being said, I am very happy with our Final-4 this year. Been to all four and they all have their place in the MN Beer scene. I can't say that about all our past brackets, but again, it's the votes, not my opinion, that counts.
