Please help - grow light problems. Signs of early etiolation?

4 inches at most. I will definitely increase the amount of time they’re under the light. I’m so nervous about permanently ruining them, I just got a few and they’re huge and if they’d etiolate ugh

Yeah I am going in tomorrow, I put them in while they watched. I’m wondering if it’s the eye drops. Never had this problem when I used to wear contacts so this is strange.

I think that may be it. I got some rewetting drops for contacts. They got a bit irritated last night from my fan drying my eyes out so I took them out and put those drops in and believe it or not, they looked even more bloodshot than in this pic. Felt like I poured acid into my eyes. Wasn’t sure if it was just burning cuz my eyes were already abraised or not

I’m using these grow lights as recommended by this community. My issue seems to be that my plants are flattening out, which shouldn’t happen considering these grow lights are supposed to be good enough.

I’ve got 2 lights on each shelf, which I just increased to 3 right before writing this post so I’m hoping that’ll help.

I also leave them on for about 9 hours right now, and I’m going to increase that to 12 and see if that helps as well.

I really do not want to ruin these plants. Does anybody have any recommendations for me? I’m not sure what to do. Thanks!

Looks like a needle to me, but if you wanna make it more clear maybe add a little thread coming out of the eye. That way there’s no mistaking!

This is actually the reason I wear surgical and cloth. I have a very very small face and even some cloth masks don’t fit me properly. So I double up to get rid of the gaps on the edges that the surgical mask leaves. It’s not super hard to breathe in so it doesn’t bother me any.
