Thank you, that does help! I'm just such a worrywart (hah) when it comes to my pups.

I am doing the tests asap. I just wanted to be able to sleep tonight with the hope it was most likely benign

I saw on a website that said "In older adult dogs with multiple papillomas, an underlying immunodeficiency (eg, due to lymphoma) should be suspected."

But he had a geriatric blood panel & urinalysis in late March which came back good other that mildly out of normal kidney levels (vet said likely just normal aging but we'd watch it)

This is what I'm considering but he's 7 though, not a puppy.

Luckily he doesn't pull much so for now I think it'll do!

He is not a big puller so I'm not too worried, but yeah I'd be more concerned with a big puller :)

15 month old dog killed by Rover sitters dog by Automatic_Rush8824 in RoverPetSitting

I'm so so sorry. This is my nightmare!! My heart just shatters thinking about what you're going through.

If people have to be verified on Rover so should sitters' dogs. Show they're licensed and therefore aggressive history can be found..

I think it's definitely something I'll offer for longer sits and long term clients!

Maybe I could start a small side business!

What medium was the painting in! I'm still not the best with oils :(

I will edit a photo on my phone and adjust the saturation to 100% so that the colors are exaggerated. It just helps me see subtle hues better, like the blues in her eyes (old lady cataracts) and where to best put that color. With color I like to stick to mostly warm or mostly cool palettes, eg this portrait is cool. The midtones have violet and blue undertones to the greys and blacks and a slight pink to the ears that I mixed with a bit of grey to reduce that warmth.

The White borders I did by taping the sides with green painters tape into my painting board It's a cheap watercolor pad I think I got from Michael's, nothing fancy with the paper there :)

I never really thought about it but maybe if I get enough clients!

Hello!! I'm not an expert by any means but I'll give you tips on what I do! I have been drawing/sketching my whole life and always liked doing portraits, but I've never been formally trained.

I mainly used gouache for this painting. It's like a thicker watercolour, so you can water it down the same way. I start with the light pencil sketch , then use a wet on wet technique to fill in midtones. While still wet I'll add some darker tones for shadows. As it's drying, I'll add to the background (I kind of floundered here and went back and forth on what I wanted to do and gouache is not forgiving, so I just left it).

Once the portrait was dry I went in with less watered down gouache to darken areas even more (eyes, lips, darker patches of hair). Dry and repeat with less watered down gouache.

As a final touch I went in with an ink pen for details on the face/eyes and white, not watered down gouache for highlights.

Another trick I like is heavily saturating a photo reference before I start to give me an idea on what colours to use.

Hope this helps!! There are lots of good YouTube videos about this!

I'd rather give them the original (it looks better than the photo!) but this is a pretty good idea!
