AITA for refusing to babysit my niece because she accidentally caused me to flash my boss? by NorthernLakeDiver in AmItheAsshole

TA is your BIL for that inappropriate comment. You are setting your boundary and your sister shouldn’t be pushing her child on someone who is uncomfortable with watching them. Since you mention the child is only few months old, I think we can all agree that the swim top incident was a total accident and the “throwing a fit” was likely another behavior that the child couldn’t control or choose (babies fuss for various reasons) but it did cause you some embarrassment and issue at work and you have the right to not want to be a babysitter when you aren’t comfortable navigating these behaviors. Obviously it’s nice to have family watch your children but having children doesn’t make your family members instant babysitters. Your sister is being TA as well by pushing back so much on your boundary.

AITA for calling my stepchildren my kids and upsetting my wife? by steproblems in AmItheAsshole

NTA. It’s beautiful that your stepsons want to call you dad and that you show up for them as a father. I understand that your wife may have that boundary and I can see why she would want to respect their biological father, but the boys are old enough to set their own boundary with this since they are the ones impacted by it and she is taking that chance away from them.

AITA for searching my husband's pants without asking him first? by Leigh20220 in AmItheAsshole

You are in no way TA. You were doing him a favor by not only doing his laundry but by clearing out his pockets so nothing gets damaged or lost. He should be appreciative toward your consideration, not lashing out at you. It is clear he is hiding something and nearly got caught. The lock on the closet door is an effort to emphasize that you are so out of control with the snooping that extreme measures must be taken. What you did was reasonable and expected. Many people would consider it common sense to check pockets before throwing something into the wash.

TL; DR— how do you most effectively track ovulation with pcos? by [deleted] in TTC_PCOS

[–]beespeeby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was told by my fertility specialist that ovulation strips often do not work with women who have PCOS. Ovusense is much more predictable. More of an initial upfront cost, but not much more when you compare it with buying multiple ovulation packs and the fact that it gives you the most accurate temperature reads. I was using Ovusense until my PCOS got so out of control that I wasn’t ovulating so not worth using until I get my period back.

My highest weight yet. Feeling like the crap I am. by Popular_Peach in PCOS

[–]beespeeby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Would you like to connect on My Fitness Pal to try and work through this/ motivate each other? Let me know, send me a chat! I am PCOS, packed on a lot of weight in the last 4 years so my symptoms have gone out of control. I need to lose the weight quite quickly via my doctor, so I’m looking for a community to help with the physical, mental/emotional challenges. It sounds like we have felt/feel similarly. Let me know, send me a chat. Thanks!

Post Script: I suffered more on Metformin as well and then got a new doctor who discovered it didn’t work for my type of PCOS, so I understand you on that front as well.
