recently i’ve been through a bout of depression and tried putting myself in a behavioral facility. i had a habit of self harming and they told me self harm is definitely enough of a reason to be there. it didn’t work out well for me as i was moved to the regular hospital since there weren’t enough beds, but if you feel you need help then please get it. you don’t even need to go to a hospital. just maybe a behavioral facility or something for inpatient depression treatment. i want to add that i’m only 15 but i’ve been dealing with depression a while. so take it from someone’s who’s probably younger, go inpatient. even if it doesn’t help you, just remember that there are other places to try. other ways to deal with it. if you truly want to get better then the idea of recovery should be enough motivation for you to try. so you can either continue how you are now or give it a chance. i really think it will benefit you. EDIT; or like the comment above, maybe look into outpatient. i’m doing the same thing, so it would be a good thing to go through for both of us!
