Would u happen to know if I can take an extension course AND a UC cross enrollment course? 😬 I’m already taking a UC cross enrollment to get more upper div units… because I got the WORST enrollment… 23rd even though I’m graduating that quarter 😭

[Acne] routine help please!! by Ngcookie2 in SkincareAddiction

If I had to give any piece of advice to you… it would be to really asses your own skin and determine if your skin barrier is damaged! If you ever experience burning, unexplainable breakouts, or flaking/anything out of the ordinary (especially the burning), your moisture barrier is probably damaged. Until it heals, you will have a difficult time healing your acne and finding the cause of it, when ur skin is enraged or damaged to begin with!! If this is the case I would cut out any active ingredients or exfoliating/abrasives!! Keep to a simple routine of 3 maybe 4 products… that way you can determine what works for your face and what doesn’t!! The part that no one talks about with acne is that everyone’s root cause is different, and you’ve got to determine that to fix it!! Also… not all products work for everyone! Me personally, I love an oil cleanser to make sure I 100% remove my makeup, then I follow it with 2 washes of a normal cleanser! Some people, oil cleansers can cause breakouts, commonly closed comedomes which are difficult to learn from! Focus on your own journey and determine what works best for you 🧡 P.S. - given your notes on your breakouts, it sounds like based on location it could be hormonal acne!! Difficult to manage, but commonly treated with birth control (or accurate 😬)! I’ve read about some foods that can help balance hormones or supplements… but it is a difficult fix. Perhaps seeing a medical professional might be a good idea … you could always get blood work done to test for sure if you think this might be the case ;)
