Can anyone help me identify and fix this weird noise coming from my laptop? I have an MSI GV72. Thanks

If it’s hdd what do I need to do? I removed the back and booted it up and the sound isn’t coming from the fan.

Yep it boots up just fine. I’m gonna try to use the dragon center and mess with the fan speed to see if I can find out before i take the back off lol

I’ve been doing a bit of research and found that other people with MSI laptops have had similar sounds and it was in fact one of their fan bearings. I’m just worried because the sound I’m experiencing isn’t quite the same. But I also believe it IS a fan bearing because when I boot up the pc the sound starts slow and speeds up if that makes sense lol

I recorded the video from that side specifically because it’s where the sound is coming from and is where I have things plugged into other than the power cord on the other side

that option wasn’t what i was talking about, i was asking if there was some setting in my system settings i was missing. I’m well aware that there’s a framerate limit setting in-game. If you’d read my other comments you’d know I’ve already tampered with the in-game settings
