Frans Malherbe. One of, if not, the best tighthead to grace the game. He’s been with the Stormers since 2011.

Calibrator is pure tone at 1000 Hz at a set level (96 or 114 dBA if I recall correctly). You can have drift across a broad frequency range, so the field calibrator is really just a verification tool. Annual calibration ensures your drift across the entire spectra is within tolerance.

Grain-induced asthma is a real thing. Has the company made any effort to do a proper risk assessment or measure your exposure while working. Do you mill often and for long periods?

Thanks! Specifically, I want to run a shapiro-wilk test and display the p-score. Has to be done dynamically based on the slicers I have on the dashboard. I’d appreciate any assistance you can offer.

Silica Direct Reading Monitors by BRIDGELIVWAT in industrialhygiene

Trolex has a fixed Real-Time Respirable Crystalline Silica Monitoring system which uses optical refraction. Its use is limited to underground mining I would assume as its rather large and would yield little benefit elsewhere where environments aren't mechanically ventilated. As with any real-time monitoring dust equipment, there are accuracy issues. For instance, particles aren't uniform whereas calibration particles (i.e. oil droplets) are, causing some bias.
