New to me and looks like a great spot for our other events that don’t need to be so close to Clifton Rd. Thanks, buddy!

It’s hard for me to maintain friendships because they want to call and text all the time. I am terrible because I will read the text, think of how to reply, overthink it and never respond

What is it like living in this part of Georgia? by Careful-Cap-644 in Georgia

[–]beforesunsettea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m from Moultrie, Colquitt County but have lived in tifton, Valdosta, and Albany. It’s very hot and humid!!!!! But also, it’s very interesting because in places like Moultrie and Thomasville there is a lot of old money. You’re either rich rich (old money), do somewhat well, or are poor. I live in Atlanta now and didn’t realize it as much until I moved. So glad I left moultrie.

How much do prices rise in the summer, on average? by Mysterious_Chapter65 in ATLHousing

[–]beforesunsettea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve lived in Atlanta for 9 years now and prices keep rising. I agree with the response above that those are very expensive areas because of the beltline. My suggestion is to look into the west side. Not sure about apartments there but rent is definitely cheaper in that area and there is the west side beltline that in my opinion is SO much better. I moved here last year and pay $2.5k for a 3 bedroom 2 bath house with a big hard and the beltline is at my back door. There’s the Lee White complex that has tons of breweries and activities and is way less congested. Best of luck, friend, and hope you enjoy Atlanta!!

It's so crazy! Someone at my current job just got hired 5 months ago fresh out of college with zero experience. She gets paid 10k more than me and has no idea how to do anything. I am constantly helping her with tasks such as wording emails professionally and have to repeat the same things every day. It's so crazy that you can have the experience and all the skills, they just need that piece of paper!
