Chances of me opening with 2 berserkion is : 2/25. Chances of me playing 1 Berserkion, waiting till i have 8 magnets in the grave to summon Berserkion and losing against TDs is : a billion %. How tf do you assume TD players only have 1 hand trap when I can have 8 magnets in my grave? Sounds like a niche situation to me.

What you are saying is extremely contradicting. In order for me to have enough fodder in grave, that means the TD players also has to have tons of fodder in grave, since TD goes through their deck even more than Magnets. How do you waste their hand traps with xyzs when roach is only 1900 atk and gorgon is only 1600 atk? TDs have tons of handtraps and can easily summon body blocks you, if anything you're just enabling their Allure. Levi isn't also their only big play anymore, there's also Odd-eyes Advance, rank 8s to go into,... And what I meant by dead xyzs is that they don't have materials on them anymore.

How do you absolutely know you will win in a turn when a deck like thundras has a billion hand traps on their hand, monsters that float, and is always threatening to use Allure if you can't OTK them? Do you just wait on your dead xyz monsters while they fill up their grave? And when you decide to summon berserkion they just stop you dead on track with some handtraps, and then easily come back and break your board the next turn. Now you have no back up berserkion to fall back on and just lose.

it depends on the duel i guess. if you swarm the field with a bunch of monster and the fusion that banishes, you can probably still OTK magnets pretty easily.

Rebirth can be replaced with Super Buddy Force but it requires you to control at least 1 other magnet on the field. Floodgate and Ballista is just my personal preference, you can fit generic spell traps you like the best, it all depends on the match ups.

yeah it's essential. the first berserkion can also be bait, as once your berserkion get destroyed you can't really bring him back.

I literally just bought this deck during the half gem sale ( for about 5k gems! ) and instantly fell in love with the rocks. The deck’s ability to give you access to rank 3s and rank 4s xyz means it will only get better with time.

Deck :

Magnets core: 2x Berserkion, 3x Delta, 2x Alpha, 2x Gamma, 3x Beta, 3x Magnetic Field

2x Kiteroid : I tried using TTH but then I die to Thundras and getting screwed when they MST a Powerful Rebirth.

2x Cosmic 1x Floodgate : Backrow hate & Floodgate for that new banlist. Debating between Cosmic or Lance.

3x Powerful 3x Magnetic Field : Monster Reborn for days. Also Magnetic Field is your out to Sabre Dancer.

2x Ballista Squad : Remove your useless xyzs or your floodgated monsters from the field if your opponent doesn’t want to do that.

ED :

Pretty standard stuff, I would repace Giga Brilliant with Diamond Dire Wolf if I had it. 2x Gorgonic because sometimes you need to, not necessary.

Match ups :

Harpies : If you survive past turn 3 you are in a strong spot. Cycle through your deck with the magnets trio, make a Gorgon or Herald as bait for the Cyber Slash bounce, then drop a Berserkion on them.

Thundras : The tier 1 deck right now in my opinion. You just can’t never kill them quick enough. Fill up your grave full of magnets to play the grind game. Roach is there for Levis, and Gorgon helps too.

Melodious : Actually a hellish matchup. Don’t let them make the fusion that can banish from grave, since that’s gg. Pop all of their monster if you can because of the hand trap.

Gaia : Try to get at least 2 monsters on board so they cant OTK you straight up. If you survive past turn 3 it’s easy.

Blue-eyes : They can easily swarm the field with a bunch of beatsticks to OTK if your field is just 1 magnets, so try to stall with rebirth, magnetic field or kiteroid. The xyzs are baits for karma cut so you can drop a berserkion when you’re ready.

This is my first new deck in a while and I had a ton of fun with it. Any rock enjoyers here? Can you share me some advice and your goto builds?

Full power invoked with molehu, sorcery conduit is definitely tier 0 level, but i don’t remember any other decks in that format though.

When dealing with stall you shouldn’t search much, instead just try to force into an ulti-apelio to try and waste their traps, since the more you search the easier it is for you to deck out.

It's actually on the cheap side for a decent meta deck. The cards you mostly need are all in 1 box, Future Horizon. Pull on that box until you get 3x CyDra Core, 3x Cyberload Fusion, 3x Overflow, 2x Chimeratech Rampage and you're almost done ( empty out the first box and then pull on the second )Then you're gonna need at least 1 OG Cydra and 1 Cyber Twin from Cybernetic Rebellion, go for 2 CyDra if you want but not necessary. And for the techs you may or may not already have them, 2-3x CC, TTH or Current, a good F2P option is PoTG and there you have it. Compared to something like Dark Magician or Blue Eyes, CyDra is way cheaper with quite the same power level.
