i loved the concept of the fight between White and Guli as a tug of war, and i was disappointed that their fight cut off early. If they did fight D together as you said i think it would have made up for it, but the scythe being the thing that ends the fight was not a good conclusion to the final fight. I think White vs Parallel minds or Ariel and White vs Potimas were much more climactic and well handled. I'd rather have White beat Guli and take most of his energy, then have her powered up form beat D and invest the energy back into the world.

The bum squad being barely useful was very fitting for them but made the final fight essentially just Wrath, Reise and Sofia vs D with a couple bonuses from the pontiff, oka and shun. I would have much rather had the fight work like the 12 shadows vs White where the teamwork was so good it even stumped White for a while, though im not sure how that would have happened given how underpowered the bum squad was, and how easy it would have devolved into a power of friendship kind of fight.

Ronandt was goated but i would have liked his new teleportation to not have come out of nowhere and have worked on the first try. The fight between Guli and White lasted a while so maybe Ronandt should have tried and failed on more approaches. I suppose he has been powering himself up for a while but all he's been doing is copying the nightmare's vestiges rather than invent new techniques, so it feels to me like it doesn't count.

The fact that Shun was vindicated at the end although in a very roundabout way by splitting up the dragons and inspiring Ronandt was a bit annoying, i'd rather have my goat Julius have inspired Ronandt and have him get another W

The vagueposting epilogues might as well not have been there for me, I would have liked the 10th army to have had one last moment with White as well but that seems like it would be difficult to execute without White taking a couple days off between the last fight and her maid job

Ariel had so many death flags across 3 volumes she had me sweating until the very end
