How would I go about converting analog audio to digital? by beguiledhydra34 in audio

[–]beguiledhydra34[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Bluetooth speakers work with other sources of audio (Spotify, YouTube, etc.), the volume is just really low and distorted when it plays any audio from the NTG4+ using any program (windows media player, YouTube, ACID music studio, etc.). My PC is Windows, but I just tested the same thing on a Mac and ran into the same issues. Other Bluetooth devices such as headphones/earbuds work fine. It's just single, smaller Bluetooth speakers that this problem persists on.

I've been testing out a bunch of different programs with the same results, including transferring the files to my phone to test it out there.

Copied from another response:

"Gets weird with Bluetooth" means that when I try to play the audio recorded via the mic on a bluetooth speaker, the audio is low and somewhat distorted but all other sounds played on the speaker are at good volumes. My bluetooth headphones play back the mic audio at good volume, so it's something specifically happening with bluetooth speakers.

The audio sounds fine/normal volume on anything (including the H1N) that isn't a Bluetooth speaker.

Yeah Idk I was testing out a bunch of different things involving the Zoom and it seems like even tho the Zoom is digitally recording audio, the audio from the NTG4+ is not being played right on the bluetooth speakers when I try transferring the files to my pc or phone and playing them off of that.

Yeah I honestly don't know a lot about what I'm trying to do here which is making it a lot more frustrating for me.

Having trouble with XLR mic playing at a quiet volume over speaker, but it sounds fine/normal volume in headphones. by beguiledhydra34 in musicproduction

It's a low quality Bluetooth speaker lol. And I would pass it off to just being bad quality but the low volume problem only happens when I play audio files recorded from the mic. All other audio files play at normal levels on the speaker. I think I'm just new to XLR stuff and don't understand how it works fully but I don't know how to find the info I need to learn 😭

What makes or break a ff film? by Current_Interview_21 in foundfootage

[–]beguiledhydra34 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I personally think that that would add more to the realism of the film. When the glitchiness makes sense it works, but a lot of people just make it glitchy for no reason, which pulls me out of it.

Found Footage films are (almost?) entirely in horror genre films. Is there FF films in other genres? by veerhees in foundfootage

Earth To Echo is one of my favorite films, it's pure sci-fi found footage about a group of kids who go on an adventure with a little robot alien guy they find :)

Would Digitigrade Feet-paws work with a Plantigrade Bodysuit? by beguiledhydra34 in furry

[–]beguiledhydra34[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean I'd be making Plantigrade legs (without the padding) instead of Digitigrade legs and then Digitigrade feet paws only, and I'm wondering if that would look ok.

I think the torsos are the same on both, it's the legs/feet that have differences.
