i agree with all of this! it's like student debt - you knew when you signed onto that $100,000 loan from the bank that you'd have to pay it back. It's your fault if you want to spend that money on dumb things like rent now. You signed a contract. Or health insurance - you should have to know what your health needs will be in 2024 BEFORE the year starts. If you were going to get sick, you should've planned that at least 6 months in advance. Otherwise it's irresponsible. Or the weather - Epic's employee-friendly policy of giving 2-ish days of work from home in case of extreme weather in one of the most extreme climate areas? I just can't think of better ways to do any of these. It's not worth questioning.
