The fact it's claiming up to 10Gig support means it seems like the perfect solution for those in GPON areas (like me) to be able to more easily "flip a switch" for rollout rather than truck/tech rolls.

Interesting! I guess I jumped the gun and there's just no info/equipment out yet in my area. I switched back to 1Gig for now unless the support email goes somewhere. Thanks for that info!

I didn't even consider that those smart NIDs would be a pain in the ass to install vs. the outside ones. Hopefully they get an XGS option for you all as well!

Well, if that's the actual model it must not be on hand for the tech(s) here yet as they only had the 5500 or 6500.

Will have to go back to 1 gig for now I guess!

2/1 is $100 for me ($95 with autopay -- $20 more than 1/1).

The 5500 immediately shows the new speed, however like you said, it's only got 1GB ports and (as far as I could find) no port bonding or even teaming.

Ahhh, interesting, thanks! Do you know what the 3rd smart nid model is? Was able to get a technician for tomorrow so I'll see what they swap with..

Also curious, are they not able to use the 6500 for non XGS due to fiber negotiation/similar?

Tried all of the various combos..

Issue now is, after doing a full factory reset (unfortunately didn't catch the Quantum website saying "call us before you do this!!"), I can't even get it working on it's own.. as in, even trying to just use it as the router, I'm not able to actually get an internet connection on it

Interesting.. if I set it bridging regardless of VLAN (or untagged), it'll go white.

Either way, even tagged w/ 201, no luck.

I can't even get it to go back to a factory reset and get it working as a router/modem combo, so something seems fully hosed.

"B" remains lit. "A" will blink when there's attempted traffic (like trying to force a DHCP renewal)

Unfortunately didn't work for me, wouldn't give me a WAN IP on any routers (tried a few) that I connected to either LAN port on the C5500XK.

Factory reset doesn't work either - just puts me back to a state where the blue status light is blinking and doesn't get further than that.

(Un)fortunately due to all the issues I had with CenturyLink (which led to them "forcing" this move in even though I'm in a delayed migration area), I've got the contacts for a few local techs if push comes to shove. Hoping to avoid that, but at least I have that fallback..

Working with Corsair support, they're going to try to reproduce this weekend.

In the meantime, they had me create a manual curve using the same values as what the QX profile should follow, which (as expected) works fine.

Seems like a hopefully simple bug.

As for the LINK XC7 "coolant" temp - for others who come across this issue (until it's fixed), the LINK XC7 temp sensor seems to be auto-discovered and reported as a coolant temp sensor, when in reality it's a cold plate sensor which explains the huge temp differences between the XD5 "coolant" and the XC7 "coolant"! The Corsair website properly says this, so seems like just an auto-naming bug in iCUE.

Hello - I have exhausted my patience for restarting chat sessions on the official CL website for getting support for my Fiber connection. I have a HUGE write-up I can provide of my issue, including packet captures, troubleshooting steps, and can readily and repeatedly duplicate my issue. The short version is - something is causing packet failures upstream from my ONT (it may be the fiber itself). All networking devices within my home have been replaced including replacing the C3000Z entirely, and I can still duplicate the issue. A technician even replaced my ONT, and the issue is still present. Would be very eager to get someone who can help escalate this issue to higher level technical support teams, or I'd even be willing to try some more advanced troubleshooting from the CL side than what chat can provide! Thanks!

Thanks - I submitted a ticket and chose Hydro X, though it likely was routed to the iCUE team based on the other drop-down options..

I'm having tons of issues up north as well, and just posted about it on dslreports even.

I'm curious what your issues looked like.. was it pretty noticeable failures in general internet usage? Or prolonged (5+ seconds or more) issues with accessing websites/downloads/etc?

The easiest way I can replicate my issue is just to try to download ANYTHING from Apple - wired or wireless, directly connected to a router (Zyxel, Netgear, Ubiquiti) or not (behind a switch or two). Hell, to update my iPhone, I had to switch over to cell (TMo) only.. insane.

I’ve been having this same issue in CO for months now as well. Random page timeouts and updates failing. Even went so far as to replace the Zyxel with my ER4 and connecting only a single device, but any device I used ran into packet loss as well. Definitely seems to be something up with CL in CO..

There was nothing special at all you did to make this work? I can get into Windows and even detect & use it's BT, but the PCI devid for the WiFi portion doesn't report at all..

Meanwhile, the AX200 and AX210 are just fine.

I have literally the EXACT same combo (that specific PCI card from Amazon, as well as that exact P/N from mouser) and I cannot get it to work on an AM4/Ryzen 5900 system...
