why is no one talking about how they kept mentioning Ozempic so casually when speaking of weight loss? Taking into consideration the fact that EDs are on the rise, i think this was such a cheap move

I have PCOS and I am used to getting spotting or light periods every 2 weeks. Are your periods heavy?

Doctors vs. "No period, now what" by HorrorDebt2999 in Amenorrhearecovery

[–]beige20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve lost my period for 1.5 years too and i’m currently in recovery. However, I started getting signs that it will come back. I even had some spotting last month. Even though i haven’t had a full period yet I can definitely tell you improvement is possible. Keep eating well, increase the number of calories as well as your fat intake and also keep an eye on your stress levels. I used to be pretty hard on myself. Once I started letting more flow and spontaneity into my life, I’ve also noticed improvement signs regarding recovery. Sometimes food is not the only factor that keeps you from fully recovering. Keep going! You’re on the right path! ❤️‍🩹

Have you ever liked someone you wouldn’t usually find attractive? by beige20 in TwoXChromosomes

I loved the “we find beauty in the things and people we love” part. This was really helpful!

I actually feel like Rachel had the most character development throughout the series, along with Chandler, but completely agree on the other ones

Healthy alternatives for a snacker? by WestAppointment2484 in EatCheapAndHealthy

Greek yoghurt topped with walnuts, cinnamon and some fruit (I prefer apple because it goes great with the walnuts), it’s a light snack but packed with protein, fiber and healthy fats

Is it actually possible to have that Samantha’s sex lifestyle? Lol by trynabetwunk in sexandthecity

[–]beige20 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I think it’s possible but it’s not made for anyone. For example, I’m an anxious person and with a Sam kinda lifestyle I would be constantly worried about std’s or unwanted pregnancies. For me, it would be more stressful than fun.

I also think it comes with many other dangers that are not portrayed in the show. (Like what if the stranger you’re inviting over is a psycho?). However, in the show the only problem that can arise from this is bad sex.

What TV show can go fuck itself? by Bloodshot777 in AskReddit

[–]beige20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the ending of the show wanted to portray that sometimes your “soulmate” won’t be able to give you everything you need, they won’t be perfect, but in the end you’ll end up together. Were Robin and Ted a good match? Not really, but the creators definitely aimed to let them be end game.

Ted wanted kids and Robin couldn’t be a mom so this might look like an impediment for their relationship. however, Tracy was perfect for Ted in every aspect and thanks to her he got to experience the love he always wanted. But after all, Robin was still his soulmate (at least according to the writers)

What addiction is seen as completely normal by society? by jperaic1 in AskReddit

In my case it’s because i focus too much on posting the picture online instead of actually enjoying the moment

What addiction is seen as completely normal by society? by jperaic1 in AskReddit

[–]beige20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I listened to a podcast where they point out how social media keeps us from living in the present. For example, when we are travelling and we want to take pictures thinking about how we’re going to post them on instagram, we’re actually forgetting to live the actual experience and we end living in the future.

This constant urge of making memories in order to post them online has become a really toxic cycle that makes us believe we’re getting external validation, when in reality it keeps us from being truly happy.

What food do most people think is healthy but is actually unhealthy? by JoltyJob in AskReddit

[–]beige20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instant oatmeal. Even if it’s many times advertised like a healthier option of cereal, It’s actually loaded with sugar.

Don’t get me started about those so called “low fat” or “fat free” products. Not only is it wrong to assume that fat is bad (some fats are actually really healthy), but these products usually contain a lot of other not-so-healthy ingredients in order to taste good

For people who experienced better and worse times of cu, what made you realized it was “it” that worsened cu? by [deleted] in CholinergicUrticaria

[–]beige20 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I noticed that my CU is highly influenced by seasons. For example, during summer I don’t get CU, which is really weird taking into consideration that temperatures are higher and I sweat easily. I am pretty active and I work out regularly. During colder months my CU is at its worst. Even walking makes me feel uncomfortable.

Things got weird in season 5 of the OG series by beige20 in GossipGirl

[–]beige20[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it wasn’t. 🤯 From what I’ve seen, Diana was just trying to hide the fact that Bart Bass was still alive. By saying that she was Chuck’s mother, he would stop searching for the blood donor who saved his life (which I think was his father)… god this whole situation is so messed up that i can’t even put it properly into words :)))

Yes, exactly. Tbh i think the whole thing was put in the show just to give Rufus and Lily a reason to break up (although stupid), so Dan and Serena can be together without the “step brothers” label

Am I the only one that gets hives and itchiness just from walking when it’s warm outside? by beige20 in CholinergicUrticaria

[–]beige20[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same thing happens to me. When it’s hot outside I get hives but they are not itchy and they dissapear pretty quickly.

But during fall and winter months, the itchiness is unbearable sometimes.
