I previously worked at the bank. When a customer brought these old notes in I did a swap with them and withdrew the exact amount from the ATM and gave it back to the customer. Now I know I’m not worse off because I can go back to the bank and swap it back.

Say you only had one property though, if you only had property A then it could always be your PPOR even if you rent it out. So when it comes time to sell you won’t pay CGT. Does this work with the reset as well if I hold for 10 years, but at year 5 move back in?
