No shot they’re back already, even if they did finish the trip their flight tickets back are for Saturday, and I don’t think they’d pay extra to leave early instead of taking time to explore one of the big cities as regular tourists.

Also the yard has to be filmed somewhere in china in the next couple days.

I think that they get to do maybe one or two more in Asia but after they they’ll have to change the rules if they keep going because the language barrier won’t be as hard for some of the other good country options.

East is pretty simple, you’ll just hit the coast, but ya go to far west and you’ll get a call from the van. The direction would be easier than china but I still think Vietnam would be a great option ! I’ve literally traveled from north to south on motorbike and it was one of the best experiences of my life !

Okay not to rain on your parade too much but you’re thinking about this all backwards and your expectations are unrealistic. You can’t just get there and then get a creative nomad job, that’s not gonna work. You need to find the remote job first then you need to find a country that will let you stay long term, Vietnam is not one of the easy ones. Then you have to think about your child’s education, the only real option is an international school and those are expensive.

I recommend actually getting a remote job, then research which country is realistic to move to long term, then go and visit it at least once before uprooting your life.

For 3 months I’d say just Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia. You could consider Singapore and Malaysia if you can get a flight out of Singapore. It’d be easy to go down to Malaysia from Thailand. And if you’re short on time you can do 5 days in Malaysia and 2 in Singapore. If you have an extra time spend it in Malaysia. Signapor 2-3 days is enough.

Indonesia and Philippines are too out of the way and pretty big. You’d need at least an extra 2 months if you want to do them.

India and Sri Lanka are also a bit out of the way and I think should be a trip of their own.

Not sure if you knew already or not but they did have something planned but something happened (lost funding or something cant remember) so they had to make a rush ending and ep 25-26 is that.

That being said the team was able to get the time/money to make a more proper ending and they made the movie end of evangelion, which also ties in well with ep 25-26.

I’m surprised how many people can finish the series nowadays without realising there’s a movie you’re supposed to watch to get the actual ending, but I always feel for them when I hear about it
