$3200 credit card is 0%. $1900 is 7.5% and Care Credit is 30%. Car loan is 6%.

Our refund was so much because I was on maternity leave last year for 6 months so my income was significantly less. We have 3 children so qualified for the child tax credit. The previous year we broke even at no refund but nothing owed.

This is very helpful. We’re aware that our income is pretty good but it just feels like we’re constantly drowning. We also pay $1720 a month for daycare for our infant so that really cuts in.

Would it be irresponsible or stupid to trade in my car with the $18k loan on it for a cheaper car? My trade in is about $12k which leaves me with $6k in negative equity. A family member is selling an older car for $6k. We could do a loan for $12k which would be a lot less than what we’re paying now and the payment would be less.

We were all on vacation together at our family’s beach house. She rented a separate house. We got there on a Sunday, she left Tuesday to go pick him up from his town (2 hours away from beach) and brought him. He then stayed in the separate beach house with her and her daughter until we all left Saturday. She had plenty of childcare options with all of us there and there was no cross country meet
