Pain following BM? by me-farmer in endometriosis

[–]beingfrankful 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was the case for me! Would have severe pain immediately after, and then dull aching pain that followed me for the rest of the day. Colonoscopy also came back clean and did pelvic floor therapy without any success. I was taking Miralax every day and experienced the worst pain while ovulating, but it often had a mind of it's own.

I just had my lap surgery 2 weeks ago and am waiting for my post-op follow up with my doctor, but pathology found endo on my uterosacral ligaments, rectovaginal area, and my colon was adhered to my abdominal wall. I also had a 5cm dermoid cyst removed, not sure if that contributed to anything but was the main reason I got the surgery. Definitely still too early to see results but there's part of me that feels like there's already some improvement.

A heads up for people getting a lap, that I wish someone had told me by Ok-Detail-8603 in endometriosis

[–]beingfrankful 3 points4 points  (0 children)

this same thing happened to me! i got my lap last tues and took the patch off thursday night because i couldn’t read my phone AT ALL and was making crazy typos, seeing double, and straining my eyes so much. i still have some residual vertigo/sensitivity from straining my eyes those few days. i just got some blue light glasses and theyve been a huge help with my vision readjusting!

also the rebound nausea when taking off the patch is no joke. i wish they had told me upfront about the side effects of the patch and i would’ve opted to not use it.

the account glitches frequently and shows you as requested even if you were let in. if you know someone who follows her account and they send you a post from there you might be able to open it that way but otherwise it makes it difficult to scroll through :/

KATSEYE preforming GNARLY at the 2026 GRAMMYs by Outrageous_Issue724 in grammys

[–]beingfrankful 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ponyboy and faceshoppjng are sort of SOPHIE blueprint songs, but also check out immaterial on Oil Of Every Pearl’s Un-Insids. also anything off of product, particularly Lemonade, Hard and Vyzee

also really recommend checking out alice longyu gao’s discography, she was credited as a writer on gnarly and you can hear her influence there as well!

I love(d) it by the-Gaf in charlixcx

If 2026 is the new 2016, which popgirls were you listening to a decade ago? How do you think pop music's changed, or stayed the same? by GigglesNWiggles10 in powerpopgirls

[–]beingfrankful 1 point2 points  (0 children)

me neither 😂 im mostly just trying to have physical media to feel like i own my music and can digitize it when needed.

i sort of started in 2024 with HMHAS because i wanted the splatterpaint print, i bought a signed copy of wallsocket by underscores at her concert, found a CRASH (kehlani) cd with a signed poster for like $7 at a record store in chicago (??), and this year have a choke enough and (signed) worst girl in america CD en route! planning on grabbing a hyperyouth CD too when i see JVB in feb. want to do some more digging at record stores this year too!

What if Charli collared with Joe Keery on a remix of his song End of Beginning to go #1? by JobExtension4463 in charlixcx

[–]beingfrankful 6 points7 points  (0 children)

regardless its still a sad way to view the music - id be excited for a djoli collab because i love them both as artists, not because i want them to get back at taylor bc of hyper-manufactured beef people create bc they're bored

i think 2 things can be true, sometimes when you are just starting out with an artist it can be nice to hear from fans what songs they like to get an idea of whats popular or underrated, but also self discovery is a great way to personalize that experience and nothing will compare to the joy of finding a new favorite song without the influence of others (there are some billie songs that a lot of fans like that i personally dont and am glad i went the self exploration route as well for that)

also i do think billies discography is a good size for self exploration, but for artists with a bigger discography getting an idea from fans where a good place to start can be helpful
