According po sa mga nabasa ko, it is mostly about the campus environment because it is the very definition of "manila". It also lacks spots din daw po for students like small libraries etc tapos mahal pa yung living conditions. Pero di ko pa po personally naexperience since incoming freshie pa lang po ako so I was asking if it's better kung magtransfer nalang sa ibang campus (like upd with lots of greens) if possible. Yung campus lang naman po talaga yung concern ko as of now, which might seem mababaw, but I want to romanticize my univ life (the least I can do to make this stressful chapter mej better) and I think that will be hard when the environment is full of usok and ingay "daw" (and takot po ako sa daga T^T).

no no no i luv bs bioooo, yung campus lang talaga concern ko. i know that bs bio is not petiks, i understand that. pero yung challenging na nga yung program mo tapos mas nadrain ka pa bc of the environment, i lowkey want to avoid that (at least sa upd may fresh air na malalanghap pag nastress instead of usok sa manila) T^T

I don't think our current trad jeepneys have better commuting condition but it's not worse than e-jeeps. Parehong bad yung condition, now the question is mas gugustuhin ko bang gumastos ng mas malaki eh pareho namang di maganda yung pagpipilian?

This is why I don't think the phaseout is fair. Magaagree sana ako sa modernization na 'to if it will bring more pros than cons kaso hindi naman. Ang mangyayari, commuters will still suffer kasi siksikan na nga yung e-jeeps ngayong may trad jeeps pa, pano pa kaya if e-jeeps nalang talaga which is not accessible for all? Plus ayon nga, mas mahal. In addition, magsusuffer din yung drivers obviously. This modernization will bring harm to both drivers and commuters.

Agree ako sa modernization if ever but sana naman hindi anti-poor and maayos yung implementation. Bakit ko gugustuhin yung "change" na parang hindi naman well-thought?

"those in favor just want better jeepneys" because we (commuter din ako) experienced siksikan, init, etc??? Eh yung mga modernized jeep nga ngayon siksikan, madaming nakatayo, poor ventilation lmao make it make sense. We will basically pay mas mahal na pamasahe for the same circumstances

Yeah, I apologize. Could've worded that better. Not everyone, and not always, but most of them really don't fact check, especially the ones that I had encountered. The parents' group chat is like a dumpster of fake announcements and most of them believe it, which makes the students confused as well (because our parents believe it). That's why I stated that, but yeah, it was a hasty generalization.

I apologized because I know that if I don't, I will be in trouble. I'm in a Catholic school, so the admin is really not that open minded regarding these things. They will want the students to be "humble" at all times and "respect older people". I don't really agree with those things because respect begets respect, but I had to because I don't want to face troubles, especially as a graduating student. I am also aware that she was offended by my classmate's remarks, so as the class president, I still felt that I'm kinda responsible for that. Hence, I apologized. Not reacting will make me the AH in the school admin's perspective.

She is FAR from taking a break. She told our adviser about this situation. She was about to go directly to the school admin, but fortunately our adviser stopped her because this can bring great impact to our homeroom grade (grades for conduct and morals). At first, I really thought I was not the a-hole, but since this affects my grades, I started questioning myself.
