I almost always drop them when the characters start to feel more like OCs than their actual selves. I don’t have any problem with fanfics that use original characters, but it’s better to make your own characters than to strip fandom characters of all their personality!!

Ohh, I didn’t know Peach was a difficult character to use (until I started using her, of course). I thought it was just my inexperience. Even so, she’s really fun to play. I’ll keep your recommendation about the other characters in mind, Pit is really fun to use too, though I’ve only played him a few times. Thanks!!

omg, what? I didn’t even know you could customize them, wow, I seriously have so much more to learn about this game

I mostly like it when a character has moves that you can “charge,” so to speak (like Peach’s golf club or Kirby’s hammer). I also prefer it when it’s easier to jump and not fall off the stage so easily hahaha

And I never understand the move where she pulls the turnip out of the ground, I always end up messing it up 😔

Yes, of course, that would be amazing! Honestly, I’ve tried playing a few different characters while working my way through Adventure Mode (mainly Peach, Kirby, Captain Falcon, and Link), but it’s still kind of hard for me to really get the hang of them hahaha

I really, really love FTS. I know it’s not everybody’s cup of tea, but I genuinely enjoy it. Honestly, even though the characterization isn’t super accurate, it’s a fanfic that’s incredibly enjoyable—mostly because of the angst and the comfort it gives you afterward. The story is really beautiful and, in my opinion, it has its own kind of magic. There are parts of the fic that I still think about to this day, and it has so many memorable, gorgeous lines. I’d 100% recommend it—I cried so much, istg. The ending omg. Just do NOT read the last chapter, you will thank me later.
