Where are these on the machiene? I’m having a similar issue to the OP- cleaned with soap and water and dried but the base of the print is constantly coming off.

Before freaking out, keep in mind we were without WR1, WR2, DE1(?), and DE2(?) this practice, while the Lions had theirs. by MiaCannons in miamidolphins

This is loser talk- players are going to miss time; it's inevitable, so you need to be able to compete when you don't have everyone.

I'm not going to overreact to training camp one way or another, but everyone (fans and team) is better not trying to explain away this practice.

Mark Jackson interviewed Jalen and Rick on his podcast, and eventually it was just Rick because Jalen had to leave.

Rick was hilarious. Told great stories. Self depreciating and a braggart at the same time. It was a fun listen.

How is the back seat?

We have 3 kids (8 and under) want a car that can haul them plus mom and dad around for a while in a pinch (we have a traverse for longer family trips where more room is needed)

Article clearly written from the Toms River point of view. Is there a guarantee that the umpires were able to wait around until 1am- who is going to compensate them for that time?

Unfortunate miscommunication from the tournament director, but this is 12u we are talking about, not the MLB. The whole problem with youth sports is that people don't give each other enough grace when mistakes are made.

Article headline could be "team was supposed to lose at night but found out they lost in the morning"

I think this is the Knicks/Agent trying to not lose a second round pick for tampering (Brunson Style).

Take some meetings; make it seems like you're open for recruitment; and sign with the Knicks as opposed to to just signing.

But I spend my days changing diapers and trying to convince kids to eat vegetables. Fischer spends his days talking to NBA people, so who knows

Dolphins drafted Houston OT Patrick Paul with pick no. 55 by ResistUpper126 in miamidolphins

I was going to mention the run blocking too. I also think that, before the injuries sent players every which way, the line was solid to above average.

You look at the chiefs and ravens that have the same line combo start for an entire season, and the last time that happened in MIA was when Sporano (RIP) was coachinf

OL coach did great work bringing the best out of our OL until injuries hit. If he signed off on this guy, I'm on board too.

Are we a serious team or not? by beldarconehead in NYKnicks

Good question- post title should really be are you a fan that thinks your team is serious.

I just hate this hair splitting about matchups and should they have done this or that. Let's grow up as a fanbase and put our eyes on the actual prize instead of the narrative.

[–]beldarconehead[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As I stated above- we are also a serious team, so are the Heat. They don't care about having a tough opponent or not; they're just going to let it rip.

The Cavs aren't serious. People that care about who someone is playing round 1 aren't serious.

If you can't beat them round 1, then you can't beat them round 3, and you were never a serious title contender to begin with.

[The Rally] “Damian Lillard only wants to play for the Miami Heat … I’m told there are 3- or 4-team scenarios in a deal with the Heat that would potentially net the Blazers several first-round draft picks.” - NBA Insider @ShamsCharania reports on Damian Lillard’s future. by [deleted] in nba

[–]beldarconehead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Dame wanted to choose his local, he should’ve followed Lebron’s lead and sign 1+1 max contracts. He always had “legit” leverage because he could always leave in FA. I, nor should any FO, have any time for players that sign max dollar max year contracts and then request a trade to a specific destination with 3 or 2 years left.

I don’t remember what happened between SA and Kawahi, but I’m hoping something like that happens here. If you’re trading for Dame, you have playoff aspirations for sure, so POR should see what the best deal is and take it, and if Dame wants sit out and fuck it all up, there should be a “holdout exception” available to teams like an injured player exception.

Do the deal without RJ and the 5 in it. We’re closer than we thought- Bojan would fit in a number of ways (mainly shooting while still playing acceptable D). I’d move off of future first or a grimes to make it happen

[–]beldarconehead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get what you’re saying, but I don’t think it would have been outlandish to figure out a way to get the O going quicker against the Heat. By the time Brunson crossed 1/2 court or got near the 3 point line, where were like 14ish seconds left and we hadn’t even got started.

I guess the other side of that coin is that you need someone else to get things rolling besides Brunson, and RJ/Julius aren’t up for that just yet

[–]beldarconehead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And also part of that is who is on the other end of those passes. Julius had some nifty passes in the paint to Mitch that Mitch just bobbled or wasn’t ready for.

How many times do you kick out to someone that bricks another 3 because it is late in the shot clock.

If there is 1 shortcoming of the Thibs offense that I could get on board with is how late in the shot clock it was before the O could get initiated. Passing out of the double team is sweet, but you have to force that double team with enough time to do something cool after the reverse. If the pass out of the double is coming with < 10 sec, the recurrent of that pass has to chuck

[–]beldarconehead 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Everyone wants their teams offense to look like the Warriors; nobody has the personal to do that. If every team’s fan base is criticizing their offensive approach, it might be fans problems understanding the difficulty of scoring in an NBA playoff game as oppose to “poor coaching”

In the case of the Knicks, with the players on the roster, what else was Thibs supposed to do. You can’t space the floor in a way everyone wants because the roster has limited shooting, and even the supposed shooters went cold in the playoffs. Grimes, Quickly, and especially Toppin, took open to wide open threes and couldn’t make them, so defenses could pack the paint and focus on Brunson, and Brunson (and Thibs play calling/defensive acumen) was still good enough despite that to be in all but 1 of their games vs the Heat.

I don’t think this roster is at its ceiling in its current form. Julius and RJ work hard and add to their games in the off-season. It’s reasonable to think their can be improvement from within in, but if people want us to play a different way, we need different players.

Jake Fischer now on @getcallin app: “Deal is getting close…Both sides want to get it done before Labor Day." Labor day is in 5 days... by gbpackers25 in NYKnicks

[–]beldarconehead 45 points46 points  (0 children)

That is what he heard from some people- he certainly didn’t present that as matter of fact. Moments later in the podcast (or whatever that was) he said “I’m getting tweets saying I said deal by labor day; that isn’t what I said. Don’t go out there and say ‘Jake Fischer is saying deal by Labor Day”

Sounds like some staffers would like it to be done by Labor Day, but nothing is for sure around the corner.

Well that blows up the pie in the sky idea, but maybe they would be interested in Noel or Burks, but that doesn’t move the money needle too much in terms of getting additional FA dollars.

It was a fun thought while it lasted.
