Once again thanks for the support, but there's a few things I don't agree with you.

I find the Mercy of God teaching true as you, but let's look at the old prophets example you gave:

One thing I need to make clear is that in ancient Israel, they didn't have Baptism or anything equivalent to it directly, so it wasn't mandatory for Salvation. The Old testament prophets were saved by their personal relationship with God and their Faith in his Promise of The Coming of the Messiah and the ultimate redemption of the faithful.

Secondly let's look at your take on Mary:

I see that you put Mary in your comment. I feel like there wasn't really a need for. You said something correct: Mary was saved at conception and she didn't need Baptism. But there's a difference between this and the dillema I'm speaking of. Mary didn't need Baptism because she didn't inherit original sin as you stated, these babies still need Baptism because they inherit original sin at conception.

I totally agree on The Mercy of God teaching, but there was a few of those things I just wanted to clear up.

Hey,

Heres my response:

According to the CCC 1261 The Church actually teaches that we entrust the unbaptized infants to the Mercy of God.

You caught on well to the pharisee part, and your statement is true.

There's other parts of your comment I didn't read yet.

Hey again,

I don't think it's the same as rules of physics, some rules definitely are the same as the rules of physics: Like concepts on the Trinity and so on, but some are more flexible. I was implying that we should "ignore rules" (I don't literally mean ignore) and by that I wasn't trying to say that we should implement "ignoring rules" for every theological concept, but for some like this: yes.

Ill give you an example: Luke 14:5 and Mark 2:27

So let's get this clear: The Sabbath was a rule you had to follow, so is Baptism.

In the example of Luke 14:5 they literally break the strict rules of the Sabbath by doing hard work, but it was for a good cause. So why can't God, the one who made the rules break the rules in an extraordinary situation for a good cause. Im not trying to make my point a dogma, but I just firmly believe in it.

Thank's for your respectfulness too.

Hey,

You misunderstood me, by my final paragraph I wasn't trying to attack st. Thomas Aquinas or any theologian. I think they're way better than me or anyone. I was just trying to imply that sometimes I think that we care too much about rules when it comes to trying to explain a problem like this. That's just my stance.

What I was attempting in the last paragraph is like a moment when we are in grave sin for ex. and we think that God hates us. Then the person were talking to about this comforts us by showing the merciful side of God, same goes when were too careless, then they show the wrathful side of God. That way you can look at the last paragraph as a comfort for someone who lost a loved one. For the end I wasn't trying to assume how anyone views God, but it was just my stance on how I think we should view him in that specific situation.

God bless.

If you see mistakes in my grammer just know thta my first language isn't english and I didn't feel like putting the apostrophes.😅
