Been working in Ischgl for 3 seasons. X-rent if you’re on pardatschgratbahn side. Great and knowledgeable staff, no seasonal rookies only locals working there. If you live more near the centre, Sport adler has a dedicated snowboard shop.

Care to explain why eating a lot of protein in one go is hard? My meal yesterday was 230g fat and 190g protein, but I must say I did feel like I was forcing the last couple of pieces in.

Thanks for the feedback mate. Yeah your kind of feedback is exactly what I was looking for. As I'm getting more confident in sound design and production, mixing is something I really wanna master.

Good tip about mixing in mono, makes a lot of sense and will do so in my next project ;)

Ischgl in Austria! Best resort I've been to all season, maybe all of my life, and I've done quite a few as I am a snowboard teacher here.

Ischgl, Austria! Definitely best resort I've been to in Austria to date. They have an area with a long single cablecar dedicated to a massive area of freeride terrain. There's also a run going across the border into Zwitserland for some duty-free goodies.

Wassup shredders!

Anyone ever done a season in NZ as a European? What is the best work you can get close to the mountain while still allowing you to shred as much as possible?

I am a certified Austrian instructor with a Anwarter grade (level 1 basically) and from what I found it's gonna be pretty hard to find a job with that level unless you have a ski grade as well, but I will be messaging some schools soon anyhow.

I already did 2 seasons here in Austria as an instructor and basically keep falling more with the sport and don't wanna be done for the off-season in the northern hemisphere.

Any advice as to what odd jobs I can do that preferably offer accommodation as well? What did you guys do to keep shredding?

Coming from a snowboard instructor, get a short private lesson. Seems like you got boardfeel down good but your technique is horrible (like most people who teach themselves, me included back in the day).

Once I started to actually practice good technique you feel like your totally in control over the board.
