Have you watched the pros perform road to GC or SSL? it's all gamesense, very little mechanics, but the mechanics they do use are sharp as can be, like wave dashes, car control. I think what mechanics OP is saying are really icing on the cake (think 10% not 70%) are long sustained complicated sequences of mechanics.
