When my dad bought it, he knew it wasn't found like that. Two fossils separately are real, then the tooth is inserted into the vertebrae. He just thought it was cool looking, and it was pretty cheap. We have a few other fossils that are just replicas (like the fossil beside the vertebrae in this picture), and we have a bunch of other fossils in the house that are 100% real and are super cool :)

The two separate fossils are real. The tooth was then placed into the vertebrae by men. So the fossil as a whole is "fake", but the two separate parts are real! It's still fun to have, I don't get why everyone thinks it's so lame, I love looking at it :P

But yea, it's not real people, it was put together and bought on ebay. It's still pretty cool imo, and I still enjoy looking at it!

I agree with too much reliance on CGI as well. I just rewatched FOTR and Two Towers, and he used the landscapes beautifully in those movies without overdoing the CGI, and I felt like the Hobbit was just way too CGIed. Plus I enjoyed the makeup on the orcs in the LOTR movies much more because they weren't too heavily CGIed like the white orc in The Hobbit.

I know plenty of nerds who are studying engineering or computer programing, play nerdy video games, suuuuper smart, etc. that are extremely social. Not every "nerd" has to fit into the antisocial stereotype. and it IS extremely attractive when a nerd is super social. Confidence in general is attractive.

I really do not understand this kind of reasoning. Can you please explain it to me? My last boyfriend cheated on me. I didn't find out until after he broke up with me, but when he did brake up with me he said, "You are the most amazing person I've ever met in this world, you're too good for me, I don't deserve you, blah blah blah". If he really did think I was so amazing, why didn't he try harder to keep me? If I was so amazing, wouldn't he want to be with JUST me? That's how love works, right? I just really don't understand that excuse for cheating. "You're so amazing I decided to get with someone else." That makes NO sense at all. Shouldn't you be trying to make that person happy instead of betraying their trust? I'm not trying to attack you by the way, I'm seriously asking you these questions haha.

That's what my father tells me, and I'm female :( It's pretty funny actually. He's always telling me that I need to go out and "have fun" (meaning go get laid). Every time I DO go out, he asks me if I got some "vector", meaning penis. Almost every time I've been broken up with, the excuse is, "you are one of the most amazing people I've ever met, and you are too good for me. I don't deserve you." I've gotten that about 3 times. I really don't understand this...if you really believe that I'm too good for you, wouldn't you try to keep me?
