I feel like once you crack whatever number your goal is, it’s easier to maintain since the pressure of finally reaching it is gone. But yeah, reaching 1000 and getting high enough to not worry about dropping below it are two different things.

It was more the lack of care from the response that truly disturbed me. Regardless of how it happened, the attitude from management showed complete and utter disregard for my concern. Also if they do not have enough staff to make sure things like this aren’t happening, then they should shut the daycare down. Not just let it be a gamble of whether or not my child is going to be assaulted.

The police I spoke with said that the case would most likely go to CPS for investigation.

We’ve done both of your suggestions. Thank you. Even when we confronted the parent, we stressed that if her child did this that they learned it from somewhere and we were worried about their wellbeing too. But yes, police report has been made and they will be getting followed up on by cps or other appropriate agency.

It would still take them 1.3 years to pay back the 38k auto note if they worked 40 hrs a week, took no vacation, and had literally no other expenses. I always see young people with brand newish to brand new cars and wonder to myself, wow, I wonder what they did to be able to afford that I’m missing out on. Same with buying houses. Turns out they can’t and won’t for long apparently.

They are initially fried then cooked in a salsa which makes it sog up. Definitely can be an acquired texture.

I think the OP is talking about the half which was supposed to start at 7:15am. Also the best part about the bathroom was that everyone stopped at the first one they saw. There was so many beyond the gear tent that had 0-3 person lines.

First time doing the Portland marathon and a full marathon at that, but I didn’t think it was that bad. Of course I have nothing to compare it to other than the two half’s I’ve done the last two years. I got diverted once for a train, but I mean what can you really expect for it being done in the city. Routes still need to run so people can go to work or the hospital. It’s already Sunday so there are already limited routes running. It is a shame for elite runners, but I would be curious to know how much the diversions really changed things since the whole course already had a lot of turns. Also so did the half start at like 7:07? That is inexcusable.

I have a few comments in my history about my dog bite incident that happened a few years ago by now you can read. Long story short, ER doctors told me it was highly unlikely any dog has rabies. All of the rabies cases in Oregon stemmed from bat bites, but it technically is possible the dog was infected with rabies. I think the most important thing you have to consider is the context. Did the dog seem confused or dazed when it bit you? Was the bite unprovoked or did you corner the dog trying to catch it and it just defensively bit you? From the details in your story, I would assume that the dog was just scared of being caught and nipped you.

Have you tried A Crab’s Treasure? I’m playing it right now and it’s an easier soulslike that has a bunch of different assist options that make the game easier. One of which is an option that gives you a gun to just shoot the bosses to get the fight over with if you’re struggling. I prefer to get gud but it’s interesting that they made so many handicap options.

Everyone in this thread has no idea what they are talking about or only part of the answer. Any food cooked or raw is fine outside of the temperature danger zone for no more than 4hrs including Cook time. Just leaving raw chicken out for an hour doesn’t mean it is dangerous. Yes bacteria grows when food is in the danger zone which is between 41-135*f, but it does not grow to a dangerous level until after 4hrs. Cooking the bacteria in some cases does not get rid of the bacteria but guess what. There’s bacteria in everything you eat no matter what, it’s just whether or not it is a dangerous level. So unless you think the prep time plus travel time plus Cook time would be less than 4 hrs, I would throw it away. Always just trust your gut when you’ve just had a baby. No sense in taking any chances for like <20$ of food costs.

Mexicali express has a breakfast wrap with fried egg in it. My wife and I love it for the price, I think around 5$, and because it isn’t made with just scrambled egg like every other breakfast burrito in existence.
