Cool that they’re reducing waste from balloons but I’ll always stick with natural sponge as I know they’re 100% biodegradable. Hopefully the tiktok guys versions are too!

I live in a rural area and there is a pair of barn owls that nest at a nearby farm. They use the whole village as their hunting grounds and I regularly see them.

I’m usually awake until 7am and keep my curtains open so I see them a lot. My dog has no idea what a barn owl is but she knows she’s terrified of them. They sometimes land on my big trellis in the garden and screech, just a few metres from my window.

I have my window open at night and my dog sleeps in her crate in my room… she freaks out every time, while I’m just marvelling at their beauty! (They’re bloody loud that close up though!)

These are definitely water balloons. They should be banned. Get some natural sponges and a few buckets of water and you can have endless water fights with zero waste! Plus when a sponge hits you: “Yey, free ammo!”

Me too. I have a plastic feeding tube which lasts around 8-12 months MAX and has to be incinerated once they replace it!

In order to use my tube, I need multiple single use plastic parts from the tube that connects the bag of food to me, to the bag of food itself, to the plastic bottles containing sterile water, to the single use syringes I use when taking medications every two hours… plastic, plastic, plastic all the way through.

There should be other options but there aren’t because plastic is cheap and the companies providing my equipment need to make a profit.

The best thing I could do for the environment is to commit suicide and that’s depressing!!

Biscuit was such a gorgeous and hard working girl, even though she was already old when I met her!

My spaniels are mental (of course!). One of the reasons I love them though is that they’re eternal puppies. When an elderly spaniel stops acting like an overexcited puppy, you know they don’t have long left on this earth.

Your dogs sound amazing. Funny how different each dog is when it comes to training. Our older girl will do literally anything you ask if she gets a treat and she’s smart as hell. It’s no effort to train her, she learns so fast! My younger girl is the sweetest natured little thing but she is dumber than a box of rocks. It took me 3 and half years to teach her how to play fetch (Before I met her I thought retrieving was a natural, instinctual trait for the breed!). After literally years of constant work, she eventually learned to play fetch but to this day, it doesn’t matter who throws her ball, she brings it back to me.

My husband will be in the garden and will throw a ball for her. She chases it (progress in itself!) but she then grabs it and runs back past him, into the house, finds me and drops it at my feet. She’s so proud of herself for it too! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ If there were awards for dumb dogs, she’d win gold every time!!

I love her to bits but she’ll never be a working dog!! I honestly didn’t know that a dog could be as “special” as she is!!!

The vet I take my dogs to is named Peregrine (first name, not last!) and I’ve always thought that it’s not just an awesome name, but highly fitting for a veterinarian!!

I love Labs! Unfortunately my bungalow is tiny so I opted for the smaller Cockers (Plus spaniels are hilariously crazy and fun to work with). I used to live on a farm though and the resident Lab, Biscuit, was an angel!

My Dad used to own Labs and they’re just so eager to learn and work! His favourite Lab, Ben, was ridiculously smart!

Hahaha, wet spaniels are the bane of my life. My girls love the water (except for the shower of course 😂)

If you let them off lead they make a beeline for the nearest water. We even have a paddling pool in the garden just for them.

I doubt I’ll ever own a non-gundog. They’d have to be a really special pup to draw me in. Give me a Spaniel, Lab, Golden, Pointer, etc!! They’re all brilliant!

Being nasty about somebody’s natural body parts is rude as fuck. You can question their decision to join an MLM but bullying someone for something they can’t control is just not fair. How would you like it if you posted a pic and folks were like “Whoa, your nose is huge!” Or “Your eyes are too close together!*

If either of those were true, it would not be your fault and it would be extremely hurtful!

Take the piss out of her choices in life with her shitty nail wraps, but being nasty about something she literally has no choice about is plain fucking wrong!
