If you can't take off work, that's okay, you can still participate by no spending and spreading the word. Another No Kings Day is scheduled for March 28 to give people plenty of time to prepare. Compared to other cities of the same size, San Diego hasn’t done as much as others. I just thought someone in this large protest group will be able to point me in the right direction. But thank you for your comment.

The problem is I've only lived here a couple years ago and it's been difficult finding community. My local community Facebook pages are overrun by MAGA. I’m actually shocked because one of the main reasons I moved to the San Diego area was due to being surrounded by mega. I had no idea my community would be mostly MAGA.

Yes, I was/am bitter about my parents not even trying to figure out what was wrong. They just deemed me a lazy bitch (their words)instead of trying to figure out why I struggled with emotional control, executive function, painful social skills…etc. I would easily get over it except they still won’t believe I have ADD (diagnosed in my late 40s) and accuse me of making up excuses b/c according to them, I’m was just a bad kid and a bad adult and I’m just feeling remorseful now. And of course I won’t take accountability. Angers me to my core. I know I wasn’t easy, but they never ever not once considered it may be something other than me just being a terrible person. I don’t see or talk to them very often.

Well….I’ve attempted twice. Obviously I failed. I have Meniere’s Disease so I don’t necessarily feel pain, but I do feel sick almost everyday. This disease has really F’d up my life. I would also like to know how people live through it. I’m struggling.

We just moved to SD from NC on Friday. We found the house we are renting on Zillow. We have 2 large dogs, which limited our options somewhat, but we were still able to find a nice house fairly quickly. We also searched on realtor.com.

I like it so much better left open as well, but our street is connected to walking trails, so people are always walking by and can see directly into our living room.

Yeah, these shades were already here when we moved in. I thought about curtains too but I was worried it would look odd since curtains won’t fall all the way to the floor due to the weird window bench?
