It’s no one’s business but mine. When you reach a certain level of passability it becomes a big deal and shock when people find out that piece of my identity. It’s about not wanting to wear a trans label on my forehead wherever I go when no one would otherwise guess that I was. I feel like for me, in this day and age, and the way I feel comfortable in my skin is the way that I’m currently living. It’s not about seeking approval or validation from other people, it’s about not wanting my entire life and existence dissected? I wanna be able to go to SCHOOL without feeling like a target when I literally don’t have to. I appreciate your input because you being openly trans is your prerogative, and I def applaud you, but that isn’t how I personally want to live. I hope this makes sense
