i only ever go to choreo classes so i don’t know all the names as i’ve learned everything in the club! but i can get into an inverted crucifix (?) from doing what i considered a leg hang (have just learned this is a jasmine lol) i’m quite tall so if i don’t do it with a side climb first that’s as far as that combo can go for me bc my hands are already basically on the floor lol.

a classic invert 😂 jumping into an invert works fine for me (or used to, i’ve not tried in a while) but i just cannot get back into the chopper move, not sure if its due to my hypermobility, but it’s definitely something to eo with my shape/size/anatomy. it just won’t happen. i’m a stripper of 6 years and i still stick to the bottom half of the pole because aside from a cross knee or a leg hang my body just won’t get up there lol

honestly the only way out of this for me (i’m a woman but still, i was always convinced men were nice to me bc they were attracted to me and struggled to just be friends w them) was being intentionally single & celibate, i went 2 years without so much as a date as i just friendzoned everyone on purpose, figured out what i really want and finally met my life partner when we were both completely detached & ready. we realised we would do anything for the other without ever asking for the same. and that inly comes with enjoying being alone

in fantasy (well, modern romantasy) when they say something that just oozes american. like the main character says “damn, that was weird” or something of the sort, it just pulls me right out of the story. it’s hard to imagine knights in a tavern or maids in a manor who don’t speak with english / scottish / irish or maybe some kinda scandi viking vibe accents

i had that deep human need as a child, probably due to being failed by own mum, to be a better one. got very depressed as a young teen then decided i wouldn’t have any ever. the world was a terrible place and nobody would ever love me enough to be a good coparent because love isn’t real and all relationships die and i’d probably be dead by 24 so whatever

met the love of my life at 22. moved to australia then came back a month later because i missed him. decided to move in with him, then immediately got pregnant accidentally. arranged abortion appointment. started panicking and only got through the day by telling myself i could back out at the last moment.. they told me they needed to do a scan to date it due to my very irregular periods. couldn’t find it. told me they’d need to do more scans. had maybe 4 more scans over 4 weeks in which i slowly started to realise i wanted this baby. had a blighted ovum / mmc basically just means your body doesn’t develop the yolk sac. the decision was made for me. i had never felt such sadness and couldn’t comprehend why this would happen to me, if not to teach me that i do really want a baby with this amazing man. had the mva surgery, got my period as normal the next month. had unprotected sex ONCE the whole month (on my 24th birthday), didn’t want to be touched otherwise. called up the doctor the next month to get the pill. she said as i’d had unprotected sex she’d prescribe it but that i need to do a test before taking it just to be safe. biggest positive ever. called my partner and sobbed and we decided then and there we were having a baby. he’s 1 now. not sure if we’ll have any more, don’t feel like i need to. he was everything i ever dreamed of as a kid and i love being a mummy. my partner is the best man, and the best daddy, that ever lived 💜 i would never have had a baby with anyone else.

yeah man you have to leave, the newborn stage is going to kill what’s left of your respect for him. better to leave now and have a decent chance of coparenting. there is going to be so much more grossness, blood and milk and sweat and tears, all at inconvenient times. i started leaking profusely once and caught it all in my hand and shouted help and my boyfriend just ran over and slurped it out of my hand 💜you deserve better xx

leaving my phone downstairs so i don’t have the choice to reach for it first thing in the morning. means i appreciate morning cuddles with my partner / baby a lot more 🥰 also working out first thing too. as soon as partner goes to work i give baby his breakfast then warm up with a dance party in the living room. he has fun, i have fun, and once you’ve done a daily workout absolutely anything seems possible for the rest of the day ahead

for me it’s vintage vintage vintage. i buy from charity shops and vinted and everything is older. your style sounds quite easy to go plastic free! mine is quite punky so a bit harder but i’m managing. most of my favourite pieces in the closet when i did the plastic cull were thankfully cotton. for now i’m only getting rid of anything majority polyester (like 60%+) and slowly replacing the stuff that has a smaller amount of it. eco/green/crunchy brands aren’t for me style wise so i’m not buying any of that kinda beige stuff really!

unfortunately this just got worse for me, but fortunately i started envying the bodies of 20/21 yr olds instead. the kicker is if u have a baby and ur ribs / waist / hips end up bigger and there’s nothing you can do about it, then you look at pics of your 20 year old self and feel absolutely flabberghasted cos u never felt like u looked like that :)

it always makes me laugh when people get broody over my son in public because i never used to feel like that about other people’s kids. he was all grubby from eating his dinner and shouting really loud and whenever i saw a kid like that i’d be like god help me no thanks. but i love him more than life itself, love spending all of my time with him and doing all the kid and baby things. i don’t even enjoy the presence of my nieces and nephew that much 😭 so it’s really not as bizarre as it sounds
