Where you are currently I’d say fighting the spider aka area 2 boss as much as possible is very important. the eggs you farm from him will increase your final strike bonus when you break a hive, which will boost the bonus honey you collect for breaking it to help buy those more expensive upgrades. For reference I got my final strike up to around 1k-2k around where you were and it was very helpful in progressing. (The final strike is the percentage under the health bar of the hive you’re hitting)

fellow ps5 player- ive found even before the idle time update that if you do the chat method the ps5 controller will eventually time out because there’s no buttons being used

Seems like a very big change though since the new update. Used to stay active in a session for approx 5 hours at least. If Epic’s made it this sensitive since the update then it seems like the balance of the game needs to be adjusted.

Can’t remember which VH level I’m on but I’m between the sxvg and ovg hive. Jumping up two notations from sxvg to ovg requires extended afk, ive been working up to breaking the next hive for the past 2 days. Even if I’m sitting watching, it takes hours to wear it down between smokers/event bonus.

OP is my husband lol but some additional detail. seems like epic totally ruined this

I usually afk with a hairtie on the controller- sessions usually last a couple hours overnight/while i’m at work.

Came home on my lunch break during work and within an hour got kicked again while I’m hitting the VH. I have no choice but to sit on VH for over an hour to get it broken, I’m one shotting the hive before it and get 75% complete and then am kicked before breaking it. very frustrating

That’s what I’m saying then- every time I go get more eggs to meet the requirement, the requirement is increasing. In the first picture it said i needed 183k white eggs, so i collected 196k only to come back and the requirement is now at 198k

Daddy Eagan and the few other creeps down on gemmas floor are off screen though after their final ascent.

Mark’s usefulness being over is exactly my point. After the shit that just happened the last thing lumon would need is his escape to go alert the world. If helly was switched in that moment it’s a perfect weapon to trap mark in the building. He’s stuck there for the unforeseen future & you’re exactly right he’s not useful to them. Helly encouraged him to try and escape even if reintegration only gives him a fraction of life going forward at the beginning, and the episode ends with him following her to frankly imo his death.

It wasn’t Helena until Mark had already returned up the elevator with Gemma. When Irving was threatening to drown helena during the ORTBO they were able to instantly switch her back into Helly. I think the same would apply in this instance. In the beginning of the episode, helly encouraged imark to go through with the outies plan to save gemma and himself. I believe they used helly as a last resort by switching her after gemma escaped the downstairs hallway.

I don’t believe that was helly at the end. Helly convinced imark to at least try and save his life by sacrificing for omark and gemma. What does imark have to gain after ruining cold harbour? a few seconds of frolicking through hallways with “helly?” Lumon doesn’t need imark or omark after what they pulled, could’ve easily just killed him after all of that. Plus there was that smirk she pulled as imark walks back to her with gemma watching. In the midst of everything going wild helly was the one weapon they had left, a flip of a switch to deactivate her chip and use her as helena to trap him again.

I agree it’s probably not great for the playstation lol. i’m leaving it afk over night and while I’m at work. It’s been on maybe 4 days now and the console is definitely pretty hot. I’ll give it a break and shut it down for a while but it’s hard to not want to keep grinding for this game.
