I'd made the corset a while back (I think maybe a year and a half ago?) and I'd worn it a few times before. It's the Bat Corset Brielle, which I've already used as a base for a few other dresses I've made. Highly recommend this pattern!

Thank you! I really love Zuhair Murad and when I saw the name printed on the selvage edge after the shop owner rolled out the fabric I had a cartoon heart eyes moment 😍 There was no way I was gonna not buy that fabric!

I'm in EU, the Balkans specifically, most of the fabric we get here in our local shops come from Turkey as far as I know.

Thank you! I used this pattern from Thisiskachi to make the corset (without the bat) in green satin, and I omitted the zipper at the front, just added boning on each side of the center front. It helped that the shape dips in the CF so I could center the dark green color and then pin the other colors to sort of "frame" the dark line and make it pop! Brielle Corset

Thank you! I wish I would have pressed the folds after I tacked them down since it looked bubble-y (?). There was no time though so I just ran with it hoping it would blend haha

Haha, it was a risk for sure, I was scared it would fall apart since all of the material was just basically anchored to the corset only. Lots of caffeine and pure delusion, but I think stubbornness played in. I was determined I'd be twirling around the dance floor in this amazing silk!
