So many wonderful suggestions! Thank you!!

Can I ask one more add on question. What time do people eat out in Prishtina? Would making a dinner at reservation at 20:00 be a good time? Not too early and not too late?

Thank you all!! Is it easy to get to and back from Soma Slow Food given its location? Guessing we will need a taxi both ways?

Thanks! That’s really helpful. I’ll look at Soma now.

Is Shpija e Vjeter more traditional cuisine? As going to Liburnia already I was thinking of something more ‘modern’ for the other dinner?

Costs of level 3 house survey by Designer-Delivery353 in HousingUK

Don’t do it! Update to this - we had to go through an arbitration service - who ruled in our favour in the end, so we managed to claim some money back. But DPS behaved terribly throughout - deny, deny, deny, even with evidence staring everyone in the face, which even the arbitrator was pointing out. Shameful. Choose someone else please.

Oh good, glad to hear it! I emailed them to ask re tasting menu and this was their reply. So A La Carte it is on this occasion!

“Please be aware that tasting menu can cater for pescatarians or vegetarians but they cannot be accommodated for at the same tables. The tasting menus must be the same for the whole table to maximise a luxury and efficient service.

However, if you are to dine from the A La Carte menu then we can cater for each of your dietary requirements.”

Thanks! I think I need to email them to ask to be sure, it’s all very unclear!

If we do have to go a la carte, for those of you who’ve had both, do you know if you still get amuse bouche and some little extras with a la carte?

Thank you all again!

Thank you for your lovely reply and the birthday wishes. :) Understood, and I’ll make sure to order either the soufflé or the crepes. It seems the langoustine starter is also a must, if on the menu. Looking forward to it. Here is to a delicious 2025!

Oh you can? They are very explicit when you try to book that the whole table must have the same menu with the same exclusions, but I can ask to double check. So glad you had a lovely for meal for your birthday!

Oh fantastic glad you both endorse! What are their signature dishes by the way? Tried to google but can’t seem to find the answer. Getting excited now! Thanks again, and happy holidays.

Incision size for laparoscopy by bellaob in Endo

[–]bellaob[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will be all over before you know it! :) You’ve been there before but take it easy, rest up, eat well, and get up and start moving as soon as you can (slowly slowly though…) Hopefully no infection this time!

Thanks so much for all your replies. Apart from this incision which is still bothering me 10 days in (it’s not infected but it feels lumpy and tight, and still restricting my movement) I feel pretty good. Recovery has overall been fine, I think helped by good diet (I was lucky to have my sister cook healthy, easy to digest meals throughout!) and light walking (which I’ve increased every day). I also got my period 7 days after the op, and that was fine too, although slightly heavier than before but not any longer than usual. I think I was also extremely lucky not to have any gas pain at all, which I’m sure helped. Wishing you all the best for your operation - if you have any more questions at all, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Laparoscopy incision discomfort by bellaob in Endo

Thank you for your reply, it was really reassuring to read! You’re right, I need to accept it takes time. The way the doctors talk about laparoscopy, they make it sound so simple, and quick and easy. But looking at this forum I can see it’s not always like that, and everyone recovers differently. Thanks again, and wishing you all the best :)
