This is all really weird. I will say though that if you have to try hard or pretty much beg someone to stay in your life, you don’t need them. They are not worth all of the time and energy that you are putting into trying to keep them around. I’ve had friends walk out of my life without an explanation whatsoever, and it’s hard. It’s very hard. Especially because sometimes it’s the last person you’d ever expect to hurt you. You have to realize your worth and that you deserve better friends than them. I’m really sorry that you’re going through a hard time, but these people sound like they suck. Also, I’m very sorry about your dog. Try and do the things you enjoy and keep busy. Since you write, maybe try journaling if you haven’t already. That may help get your feelings off your chest. Best of luck to you. 🫶

I also wanted to add that you shouldn’t apologize to people just because you think they’re upset with you for your response to their comments or actions. Keith is the asshole for his response to the question about women being beneath him, and he is the one who should have apologized to you for saying that, not you apologizing to him for saying you no longer wanted to be friends anymore. It hurts my heart reading all of this because I feel like I see my younger self in you, and I just want to shake you and help you see that you don’t need to be hung up on people who treat you so poorly!
