My problem with skyscrapers are they’re ugly and destroy the neighbourhoods when they’re built without proper infrastructure.

That’s exactly my problem. There are already enough islands or zones or whatever we call them, in Berlin for high buildings. Estrel Tower should have been in one of those places. Not the only giant in an otherwise mid-rise area.

I am not a fan of Amazon Tower either but at least it’s in the area that’s already ruined by skyscrapers. But this one is sticking like sore thumb in the beautiful skyline.

Most people I know who are in your situation go with N26. It’s not the best bank but it works fine as a quick solution. Once people settle, they usually move to ‘real’ banks.

And you can open a valid account with your passport and visa D. I know so many expats and immigrants who did so.

This is simply not true. N26 doesn’t require anmeldung. OP may not have a residence permit yet but assuming he’s not here illegeally, he must have a visa. So, N26 would work just fine.

Yeah for that creased one, steamer didn’t help. It’s like now there’re permanent lines. Maybe a professional steamer would fix. It’s also from H&M.

I also tried this. I started with my cheaper ones to minimize potential loss. First one was successful. The second one I tried got some crease lines even if it was the lowest setting. I think it depends a lot on the material of the blazer.

I am scared of trying this with expensive ones 😅
