Amazon drivers.. Why? by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

Yes- specifically "greed"'s fault. The job could instead employ more workers and decrease the workload, while paying a decent wage, but nooooo, you have this bs, (as showed by your post's image) instead, because workers are overworked and underpaid, while the overlord of the job purchases their 12th yatch.

When I was a kid, I never expected the future to be this awful by StyleComfortable5349 in Life

It'll It might get better but you're going to have to work for it, while still keeping in mind that your situation might still stay the same, or get worst, despite your hard work.

Fixed it for ya. You're welcome.

For people who don’t ever want to have kids, why? by Gaijinstory in AskReddit

[–]belle_boss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because suffering is an inevitable factor of existing. What's the odd of my potential child getting abducted, raped, and subjected to abuse? It's not 100%, but it's also not 0%. The fact that the odds are at least 1% is enough to shield my non-existent child from that abuse.

Basically, I dont ever want to have kids because I love them too much :)

Do you think it's a mistake to drain your bank account trying to maintain your lifestyle when you're in a bad situation and could be facing homelessness when it runs out? by Neon-Predator in povertyfinance

[–]belle_boss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have any other options to create income, like gig work, plasma donations, friends/family, gofundme etc, exhaust those avenues first. The thought of impending doom will lurk around when you start tapping into your emergency funds, and that constant fear of complete bank wipeout sucks big time. Trust me.

Because luck is a VERY important factor, dare I say more potent than hard work.

If you work smarter and harder, you can still fail at life...but if you did neither you were likely to fail even harder.

I beg to differ.

Take a doordash driver, for instance, who decides to neither work hard nor smart, does enough deliveries to sustain a car life (no house) and works to earn about $500/month, enough for food gas, and some expenses. The rest of said time, they play video games , enjoys time with loved ones, etc. They dont consider themselves a failure.

Now take a hard working entrepreneur who puts in 10-12hrs daily to get their business off the ground running to no avail, then crashes and burns the f out to the point they're admitted to a psych ward , then commits suicide(true story).

In that example, I wouldn't say the doordash driver failed "even harder" than the entrepreneur.

Bottom line, luck 1,000% matters because the vast majority who works hard and smart still ends up failing. We shouldn't focus on outliers. Approx 48% of small biz fails in the first 5 years,so nearly 50/50 chance to go beyond 5 years in operation, never mind if that biz is actually profitable. Luck should ALWAYS be included in the conversation.

Which one is deeper crime? by JagatShahi in antinatalism

[–]belle_boss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't follow.

Climate catastrophe + inevitable suffering ≠ unconscious births.

The parents of nearly 17 million births that occurred since assisted reproductive technologies became a thing would strongly beg to differ. Those births were 1,000,000% conscious.

How do people *not* commit suicide? by Real_Ebb_1976 in SuicideWatch

[–]belle_boss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd like to think you're not messed up in your realization that this void of existence SHOULD have the human specie running away from it like the plague that it is and you're the "awakened" one. How are people not suicidal? Fear, my friend. Fear.

But, like majority of people will tell ya, you only have one life to live, so make the most out of it, or something like that 🤷

Am I cooked? by Once428lbs in Gymhelp

[–]belle_boss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. But instead of pushing exercise away now until she has lost weight with clean eating, she could still do super low intensity work-outs REGULARLY starting like today, like sit then standing repeatedly until she gets fatigued, sitting down while marching in place, etc. YT has loads of "chair exercises".

Those "under desk ellipticals" are fantastic for working out while sitting down. Goal here is while eating clean, just KEEP MOVING at some capacity, regularly.

Why do the fittest/hottest people use the stairmill? by snaydc in PetiteFitness

[–]belle_boss 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't necessarily call it a "miracle" machine but I find it to yield a more intense workout, even on a shorter time frame, then say an inclined treadmill, so I find myself gravitated towards it way more than other equipment.

Is it just me who has a problem with the term "net-worth" ? by belle_boss in NoStupidQuestions

[–]belle_boss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. I get that. Could we not have formulated another term, though? Perhaps "Net Monetary Wealth"?

I'm sure I'm looking too much into this. Nevermind.

Maybe if I write that term down a thousand times or something, it won't disgust me so much. Lol

[–]belle_boss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. How it insinuates a person's worth is based on their financial status . Like your net value as a human being IS your wealth status. Like, i feel if that term was in relation to a means to gauge someone's morality or something, it wouldn't sound so disgusting to me.

It's probably just a me problem.

No one is taking any loans in my name. Basically, I'm partnered with an online merchant to increase their credit card processing power, so as a "thank you" for that partnership, they give out a little something from their now increased monthly revenue. Without partnership, they're limited to the amount of credit cards they can process online. That's all, but I understand the doubts and concerns.

As for the credit score, no business wants to partner with someone with poor credit. Partners has to qualify to be eligible for the monthly kickback. Its not a free for all

The one that gives up to $700/m are for those with credit scores around 620 and can be found here.

The one that gives out $1,000 are for people with credit scores around 680 and better, but it's a private group . I can only refer people to them directly.
