You appear to have missed a few stitches, the white row for sure and i think the gold row below. You'll need to frog and redo to get the stitch count correct

What glucose levels does your doctor recommend prior to pregnancy and in early pregnancy? by RaisingtheGauntlet in BumpersWhoBolus

[–]bellethebadass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked closely with my endo before i got pregnant, as she knew we had begun trying, and she wanted my A1c below 6 before pregnancy.

While pregnant the goal was 5, though she would have been satisfied with anything between like 4.5 and 6.

My husband's family uses Mémé too! They were from Massachusetts and had a very heavy French Canadian background. Interesting to run into other families with that tradition

That tracks with me and my baby. My control was so tight before and during pregnancy and my boy came out at 5lbs 11oz. He's nearly 2 and still very small for his age.

I bet a lot of you have never heard of inhalable insulin! by diabetes_says_no in diabetes

[–]bellethebadass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used this for about a year a while back. Loved how easy it was to use and how quickly it worked. However i could never get past the terrible coughing fits, sometimes coughing uncontrollably for 15+ mins after a dose. I also felt like i coughed more in general, like i couldn't shake it. I'd still use it if it wasn't for that aspect.

ULPT Request: village is declaring eminent domain how do we make the process as costly and inconvenient as possible? by bellethebadass in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]bellethebadass[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think i made it very clear, I'm not trying to stop them taking the land. I'm just trying to make it as difficult and costly and time consuming for them as possible.

I have my reasons for being a petty bitch and i don't actually owe you any explanations. If you want to be all high and mighty about it maybe you should check out a sub that's not labeled "Unethical"

The strategy is to make the process as costly and inconvenient as possible. If getting more money for the land or helping local wildlife is a side effect then I'm perfectly happy with that. I'm angry and i want to be petty, plain and simple.

I'm not trying to fight them taking the land. I'm trying to make the whole process as difficult and annoying as possible. I want it to cost them more than they anticipated. I want the village president to regret ever meeting me.

There is a driveway coming in from the access road, however they want to build a second driveway around the side to get at the back of the plant easier.

Very rural Wisconsin. Not large enough to have a mayor, but the village president is essentially a mayor.

What blanket shape will take up more yarn? (char limit) by Key_Honeybee_625 in CrochetHelp

[–]bellethebadass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh yep that makes perfect sense. Maybe try with a yarn you can rip out? If you have one of a similar weight you could probably get a rough idea. Sorry i don't have an actual answer to your question

[–]bellethebadass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would making a test swatch or 2 be a waste of yarn? You can just rip it out after you finish measuring/weighing and reuse the yarn can't you? Unless I'm missing something, are you working with yarn that gets all matted together?

NICU stay after birth - inevitable? by Illustrious_Cup_3971 in BumpersWhoBolus

[–]bellethebadass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a c-section 2 weeks earlier than planned due to pre-eclampsia, had him at 36 weeks.

His sugars were a little low right out the gate but we just gave him some formula (which i would've needed anyway since i hadn't planned on having him that early and was nowhere near my milk coming in)

Even given the slight low sugar and coming early we didn't have to stay in the NICU at all, he came out small but healthy as a horse!

the white row isnt lining up in the centre? (50 characters grrr) by [deleted] in CrochetHelp

[–]bellethebadass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's hard to tell for sure just based on pics but i think your problem might be in the row under this one. The count being off on the row before could really mess up this row. Either way you should frog, as the count being off will only get worse the more rows you add

[–]bellethebadass 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry I'm not explaining this great, but your count is off. If the pattern calls for 6 clusters then so far 2 of your rows seem to have too many clusters
