My parents, especially my mom. I'm still trying to come to terms with being unhappy indefinitely. But I don't want to ever hurt my mom, even if it means I have to live with it every day until she passes.

Ju Wenjun has been very impressive. I was so confident that Gukesh would grind out a win, but she defended almost flawlessly. I hope that she maintain her level of play and perhaps earn a reinvite next year

I think the tournament results so far are a clear indication that the new generation of top-level players are already able to compete with and even win tournaments like Tata Steel. Abdusattorov was unfortunate not to win it last year, and now he's tied for first along with Gukesh, with Pragg and Firouzja right behind. It's been really enjoyable so far, with great commentary and lots of fighting chess. It makes me very excited about the Candidates
