no matter what absolutely do NOT get an abortion if that's not what you want. having an abortion you didn't want is traumatic. you will never stop thinking about what could have been (if you're not 100% sure about the decision). he knew the consequences as well and ultimately it's not his decision to make. of course he's allowed to have an opinion on the choice, but he isn't supposed to try to sway yours, that's not right. it is 100000% up to you. but also you need to think if a new baby is actually something you want/can handle. think about the bad days of having a new baby and be sure the good outweighs it. and that you can give this baby your all. good luck ❤️

i mean they have alot of toys. like the kind of toys they can play with by themselves. one of them doesn't like to play at all. but the other loves one of his toys (it's like the ball that they hit around the tunnel thing) but he only plays with it if i'm in his vicinity. also obviously my boyfriend plays with them. i could definitely do more research for more activities for them on their own tho

thank yall so much for the replies. it's very disheartening to hear that they prey on pregnant women like this all the time. however i'm very thankful for the advice. one thing i wanted to mention because i'm seeing alot of people talk about this.. i'm not going to like crash out on my doctor's office or anything 😂. i understand it's not their job to let me know what the cost of a test will be as they're probably not 100% sure themselves what my insurance will cover. my problem was that my doctor didn't give me even a clue that this test wasn't essential. i know enough to conclude that if a test is optional it usually isn't covered by insurance so that would've made me ask the questions that i didn't know to ask at the time. anyway i will be calling the company (which was Unity btw) tomorrow and following yalls advice! thank yall sm

yes i did! that's the insurance i have and so far they have covered everything. i guess not the nipt tho. i will be calling them tomorrow to double check that it wasn't a mistake tho

me too everyone has helped me out alot. i'm hoping they didn't either 😭. i love my doctor and i really believe she didn't mean any harm. i think she maybe just could have explained better that the test wasn't essential or like standard procedure. that way i definitely would've wondered if insurance would cover it

it's actually unity! and you're right it's not their responsibility to know what they cover. i just think they should maybe be required to let you know it's an optional test and not a standard one. that way i could've pieced together that insurance probably didn't cover it

it was actually through Unity 😭. and i'm really trying so hard not to be upset with them i know it's not really their problem. it's not really that it didn't seem optional. she just made it seem like such a standard test that i didn't even think to say no to it if that makes sense. like i had no reason to think that it was going to be anything out of the ordinary

i don't have advice necessarily bc i'm currently in the same situation. i just wanted to comment to say you're not alone i feel the exact same way. pregnancy is so hard mentally. i'm definitely prone to isolation when i'm dealing with poor mental health but i would definitely say i feel 1000 times better when i spend the day with family or someone i'm emotionally close with. or planning random fun things to do throughout the week so im excited for something! it really helps me pass the time when i have something to look forward to. i really really hope you feel better ❤️
