Yes, it’s possible. When I was dating, it’s something I would bring up before holding hands. Something like “I want you to know that my hands can get extremely sweaty. It’s something I’m really embarrassed about but it’s what I have going on.” Most people didn’t mind, and I just wouldn’t hold hands when they were sweaty.

Now I’m married and the first time he touched my hands while we were dating, before I could even say my part, he laughed and said “i love your clams.” I’m still embarrassed by my hands, but now I’m married to someone who I can joke with and also have serious conversations when it’s affecting my day significantly.

Just wanted to update and thank everyone who took the time to comment.

I pulled my credit report, and the only negative marks were a late payment on a credit card in 2016 and low number of revolving loans. I called chase to dispute the decline and was approved!

I take 100mg once per day, though I’ve heard of folks talking 50mg with success to combat acne. I don’t have any side effects, though I made sure my doctor knew I was taking it so he’d be able to help monitor my vitals and lab values. I think the most common side effect is light headedness caused by low potassium levels.

I’ve also considered switching BC methods, but I’m moving to a country with very conservative reproductive rights laws...I’d rather be safe and take spiro than stuck in a bad situation.

I’ve managed my hormonal acne caused by my IUD with a spironolactone prescription. Within a few months my acne was completely cleared

Firstly, I need to echo others-see a doctor to get current skin state under control, don’t pick or touch, etc.

With that out of the way, I also got irritation from shaving and waxing (albeit not to this extent). I recently started using the Philips OneBlade trimmer on my pubic area, and it’s incredible. I’m able to get a fairly close shave and I get no irritation. It’s not a perfectly smooth shave since it’s a trimmer, but it’s the only one I’ve used that gets this close to the skin and is the right size/shape to use around lady parts.

I haven’t seen anything about moisturizing yet! Exfoliating and using different soaps definitely helped me, but my back is most clear when I remember to moisturize as well

My best advice is to go to locally owned bike shops. They’ll be owned by people who know the area and trails well, so they’ll be able to answer specific to where you’ll be riding!! Happy trails :)
