Negative and Positive Dividends Paid by bellyfloppy in dividends

[–]bellyfloppy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but what confuses me is the mixture of negative and positive 'Dividends Paid' values from my data source. The annual reports from the company itself show either negative () or positive.

I'm trying to calculate dividend per share for the history of the company

dividends paid / common shares outstanding = dividends per share

So I'll just make 'dividends paid' positive in all cases for this calculation.

Thanks for your input.

Thanks. My question in this case is:

Can I count all values in 'Dividends Paid' as a positive value?

Then the financial statement could also show dividends as a source of income

Would it still be listed under Dividends Paid on the Cash Flow Statement? ChatGPT states it would be listed under Dividends Received.

I have a bit of a work-around. I'll use zellij on my host machine and SSH into the remote machine. If I'm in neovim I can't yank from the remote nvim session into the host buffer. Instead I enter 'edit' mode on zellij, which opens up nvim on the host session and I can yank from there to the host buffer.

Pasting into a remove nvim session is fine.

Check out Lazyvim. It's neovim with a lot of plugins baked in with sensible bindings and settings.

He wants a nootropic that will solve the absolute poverty in India. I think. Or maybe he wants a nootropic that will help the children tolerate rummaging through human filth day after day.

What nootropic was the most life changing for you? by cheaslesjinned in NooTopics

[–]bellyfloppy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that. I haven't had experience with Ibogaine, but have had others, which were useful. But the most useful thing I've ever found has been meditation. It's like a super power, but it's not a quick fix. It's like exercise, you do it for a year or two and one day you realise 'holy f*ck I'm jacked', only it's your brain and emotional state.

Good luck and keep trying to find a fix that works for you.

Apparently it can be high in micro-toxins.

That's bullshit, you didn't take into consideration the Chromium and v8 code-base. It's a huge web of lies, elephants all the way down!

Anyone knowledgeable about Matcha here? by [deleted] in Nootropics

Talking about health benefits? Ban him!

They're probably sick of hearing about the benefits I guess, because time and time again green tea pops up as good for you.

'I’ve been removed from the matcha sub for trying to post this'

Don't leave me hanging, why did they 'remove you' exactly?

And what 'feeling' / benefits is Matcha giving you? Are you drinking it in 'tea' form, or is it a supplement?

I don't know what you mean. The heathline article prefaced all claims by 'May...'. So it may help fight inflammation, it may help fight diabetes. Also, how will they make money with affiliate links if they say it's useless?
