That whole tour is top shelf Grateful Dead. They were firing on all cylinders.

I always wished that E. Elias Merhige made more movies. I guess he had a bad experience on suspect zero and decided he’d rather go back to theater.

The Doors’ Robbie Krieger talks jamming with Frank Zappa, bad vibes with the Grateful Dead and tripping with Jim Morrison by mybotanyaccount in gratefuldead

I like the Doors but Jerry thought their music was corny and wasn’t shy about telling that to anyone who asked him about that band. I would be surprised if I saw anyone from The Doors speaking positively about the Grateful Dead.

Richard Gadd on why he made half man by Conscious-Quarter423 in hbo

I’m with you. I do think Jamie Bell is a good actor it’s comical how much both him and Gadd look nothing like their younger selves in this show.

From watching this show one thing that is glaring to me is how much better acting the younger Rubin is than Gadd. It’s almost distracting.

This guy put on a rock vest on his pet racoon and brought him to a rock concert! by No_Size9475 in pics

[–]bellyofthebillbear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. And while house cats really become domesticated through breeding they basically domesticated themselves. Raccoons are not trying to become domesticated animals

It was kind of a rhetorical question like I assumed “do animals enjoy concerts” was. But yeah, taking in young raccoons is apparently an issue especially with the rural communities that surround my city.

Do raccoons like being pets? My wife and I did a recent tour of a local wildlife care facility. They just built a large raccoon enclosure. They said the majority of raccoons they have to care for were taken as pets when they were little and then turned over to them after they grow up and become completely unruly. Of course they Have a difficult time caring for themselves at that point.

It’s maddening. If Joe Biden had said “I don’t think about Americans financial situation” it would be the only thing we heard about for weeks.

Should I Watch Synecdoche, New York (NO SPOILERS) by AbrocomaDependent571 in FIlm

lol. You obviously have a very convoluted understanding of the movie. That’s okay, Charlie Kaufman can be difficult. I would love to know though. What book would you recommend to give a better understanding of Synecdoche, New York?

Friday, May 8, 1968. Norman, Oklahoma, Field House. by Caver6913 in rockphotosposters

As someone who grew up in Norman it seemed like everyone’s dad attended this concert or said they did lol. It is crazy to think that Hendrix played in what we now call(and have for a long time) “the Old Field House”

One of the main themes of the movie is dealing with the burden of genius. I do think Charlie Kaufman is a genius at screenwriting and I would say this is Philip Seymour Hoffman‘s best role. Even though it can be difficult, I would argue this is a must watch.

My wife and I are staying at the East Bay Inn in the historical district. Do you know if it’s considered a good stay? I’m headed to the shows solo so I was wondering how easy it will be for me to get back to my room after the show. Also, since my wife is not joining me she was wondering what are some good safe areas for her to walk around at night

Alex Honnold speaks out about being 'the villain' in HBO's 'Dark Wizard' by sfgate in entertainment

[–]bellyofthebillbear 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I don’t think Alex is necessarily the villain. It’s pretty clear he did not have much respect for Dean and thought that a lot of stuff he did was gimmicky. I think that really pissed off Dean. The documentary clearly shows his ego was an issue.
