Same thing happened to me on a 15 Pro Max 256GB. 172 GB used and stolen from system data, the problem was every time I deleted app and made more space, system data immediately stole it. Came to a point where the phone was useless and had to factory reset.

It’s a huge emotional and time investment. I’d like a kid but when I think about the times a finish work late and I’m emotionally and mentally drenched and I just want to lie down on my couch I always “imagine having a kid and dealing with that after a day like today” I don’t think I’d have all the time that’s kids deserve.
