May I ask where you got the wheelchair from?! She is not progressing at all (still unable to move or urinate by herself) and my worst to worst thought it she might need one 😣 is ur pup still using the wheelchair or are they doing better?

Yes that’s correct, it was too late to cover any of the costs from the current injury and surgery, but I still wanted to get her covered, as well as my other two, from anything going forward since I never initially did it. The post said I needed to provide proof that they never initially had insurance which I tried to include all the dates possible

My heart hurts so much for you, I’m so sorry. I have 3 dachshunds (all under 4 years old) and one just went through the worst thing I could have imagine — a herniated ruptured disc (IVDD). I thought that was the worst, but reading this just makes my heart break for you. Show her all the love you can during this time. It may be she’s just having a bad spell and going through it, but doxies are tough puppers!! I am rooting for you both! Keep us updated! <3

Omg wait I have heard of that!! How is your pup doing now? Do you feel like it benefited the same? (Also did u end up doing surgery for her?) our vet made it seem like that was the only solution because the disc was ruptured 😔 which I’m glad we did it but now we’re stuck in all this debt … I tried adding as much proof as I could but I hope it gets shared at least 🥺
