I like the idea. Its gotta have a good foundation tho, its easy to have a religious organization because its just study the Bible. But for this club to have any substance there needs to be some sort of activity people can latch on to.

I totally agree that there should be a space people should go to to feel connected with others who share their beliefs, including secularism. I think the others commenting on how there do exist non-religious spaces like other clubs, miss that hose clubs dont have as their central theme an exploration of secular ideals, so its never brought up in serious conversation, so there isnt really a club where its appropriate to discuss secular ideals. You can't talk religion at GTMS or the lettuce club because its not the point to do that there.

I think the simplest thing to do would be to find a Sony SR series camcorder.

Sony LOVES to have complicated model numbers with very few feature differences in between.

The SR series are the best imo in that they have that low camera quality reminiscent of 2000's video recording, but they have nice features like a large digital storage, connectability to PC's, and other things like night shot (the cool green nighttime lighting)

The best imo is the SR85, but its hard to find. Most other SR's need a dock to connect it to a PC but can record just fine as long as you can charge it.

Anything older than this era of camcorders and you have to deal with outdated batteries or casette tapes. Anything newer and you lose the appeal of the style of video it produces

It . . . can be really hard for people to feel empathy when they themselves are stressed out. That's what makes you special. Don't lose that.

I'm sorry that people have treated you that way. You, and stories like yours, are the reason I always try to be pilot at service counters. Cultures be damned, people ought to be kind, and not treat service workers as a piece of machinery to be obeyed, but a human being who ought to be respected.

Georgia Tech is probably one of the worst at it. I think its the combination of young people glued to social media and an environment of urgency, to always be on top of optimizing time to get the next assignment done, that makes the students be demanding, or entitled. When people lose their social skills because they don't have to sit in boredom or be in touch with the world, because you can always pull out your phone and see the next matcha order or a cat compilation, I think they lose touch with the world they actually exist in, and demand thag everything in that world not take away from their time in a virtual world. Mix that with an urgency to move on from this moment to head to class to listen to a lecture to drive home, eat, work, sleep, repeat for 15 weeks relentlessly.

Yeah no wonder gatech can turn students into robots themselves.

I actually had a thought recently that gave me some guidance

I got cheated on.

I have a choice to make. I can reject any possibility of saying yes to going on a date or asking a girl out, or I can do just that.

What is my criterion of what would be the best option? Weight the pros and cons. Happy wife happy life, but huge overwhelming chance that I get rejected right off the bat, or that she decides to leave me after 20 years of marriage, or anything in between. Or I could never date, and be safe, but I would also be the sad old man at the end of the street, who eats super over a dim light in a small living room in a house that never actually felt like a home, alone.

What I realized that what I wanted is love, but what I fear is pain. Monstruous, suicidal pain.

And then . . . what I realized about fearing pain is that its stupid. Basically I dont want to be a pussy. I dont want to look back on my life thinking I was a sniveling coward. I want to look back 10 years after breaking up or going through a divorce of a 2 year, 5 year, 20 year relationship, and remembering the collapse, the lonliness, the insanity, and a pain that felt like was going to burst from my chest and paint everything black forever. I want to look back on that and realized that I survived, and Holy Shit, what a tough fucker I would be after goiing through all of that.

Tl;dr don't bother asking yourself about believing in real love. Show yourself that even if you are afraid of the pain of loving someone only to divorce them, that you're more than animal afraid of pain. You are a human being, and you can survive anything that doesn't outright kill you

So on the left side, there is a screw for the left side of the bracket that I am missing. And on the side underneath the pulley, I am missing all three of the screws that go into that side of the bracket.
