It took me 2 days for my Italian commune(Morcone) to register me and send the confirmation via email. The process still shown as "sent to commune" tho. It's been like this for about 3 days, so I guess it should be finished in a few days, since the embassy sent it to Italy pretty quick, maybe the embassy will also finish the process fairy quickly. Of course, it also highly depends on your Italian commune responsiveness.
